Have to recommend this hotel. Staff welcoming and professional. Breakfast tasty with lots of choice and certain items cooked fresh on request. Our room was very suitable for the three of us. A doluble for my husband and I and a small side area for our son which could be curtained off.Even access to a private terrace. Yes the bathroom decor is old but the shower works just fine with loads of hot water and fluffy towels and even bathrobes. Would love to stay here again-make sure you prebook Vatican and Colosseum if you're planning to go to avoid ques. Vincente gave us good advice re travelling around Rome. Everything in the hotel is very clean and the public areas are quiet and beautifully decorated. Never used the bar-out sight seeing to the point of exhaustion. They even booked private airport transfers for us both ways- stress free!

Found this hotel by looking through reviews on TA. 1200+ hotels listed and this was rated around number 30!! We were not disappointed. It's a small hotel away from the centre. It was so peaceful, beautiful furnishings and easy to get to on a regular bus route or by taxi from the central railway station. Room was lovely with its own patio garden that felt very secluded. Bed was very comfortable, well stocked mini bar at reasonable prices and huge TV! Breakfast was great with lots of choice, we filled up and didn't need lunch! Great recommendation from staff for a restaurant just down the road. Would highly recommend this place.

We stayed at this hotel for my husband's 60th birthday. The staff were friendly, helpful and promptly attended to requests. We enjoyed drinks and a delicious meal on the rooftop terrace which was still open in November! We used the spa facilities and were extremely impressed with the expertise of the staff and their kindness to us as a couple. I would recommend this hotel and like to stay again sometime.

Hotel Tiber came pretty highly reviewed, but I always take those reviews with a grain of salt. However, this hotel is amazingly modern, with great service and a wonderful morning buffet. The bar staff catered to us (when we were told about a change in our cruise plans and needed a drink) after hours - they didn't have to do that, but they did! Shuttle service to and from FCO was nice, and very reasonably priced (6 euros each). We have NO hesitation about staying there again.

Useful location on north-eastern side of town, near to Villa Borghese. Easy access to centre of Rome, take the 62 bus. Very friendly staff, they are pleased to help out with everything. Decent breakfast, excellent room quality, posh bathrooms. We had two rooms on fifth floor, facing the road. Window open, slept like a log ! Good restaurants nearby.
