"Good central location"
The hotel is close to Termini station and very handy for restaurants and bars - some excellent. The hotel itself is good - rooms are quiet, clean and air conditioned with comfortable beds. Staff were helpful and friendly. The rooftop 'solarium' and jacuzzi were a real bonus. Breakfasts were buffet-style and, again, very good. A couple of minor niggles - the room had very little in the way of surfaces for suitcase unpacking or storage and the coffee at breakfast was not of a standard one has grown to expect in Italy. These comments aside, a lovely, well-located hotel that we are very happy to recommend.

"Luxurious Hotel in Prime Location"
Only stayed 1 day & night..Our room number 116 was perfect..(even without a view)..The Hotel Stunning..Perfect Location...Lovely roof garden with bar...Our only criticism was at breakfast..very busy with many confused people wandering around looking for items, other people complaining because buffer food was late putting out..no forks anywhere,no sugar & various other expected breakfast items not brought out until complaints had been made..people were constantly asking the only 2 members of waiting staff for items... we would have preferred fresh coffee instead of the push button machine type machine..The machine coffee was not nice at all....I was in Rome & wanted good coffee.. Apart from the unpleasant breakfast experience our stay was lovely..on arrival the reception staff were just lovely..we were exhausted & they made sure we were taken to our room promptly...I do hope this review is not seen as merely complaining about the breakfast experience but instead written as constructive criticism to the hotel to give their customers a more pleasant breakfast experience.. After such a lovely day..a perfect evening & a wonderful sleep with quiet air con on super comfy beds & a fabulous bathroom....only to be disappointed by breakfast I would still give this hotel a healthy 9 out of 10 & would happily return & recommend...

"Good location on which to base your trip to Rome "
We had a triple room, which did make it a bit of a squeeze but we had three full sized beds which was good. The hotel is located about 4 blocks behind Termini Station. Don't be put off by the busy station, which like any major station does look a bit seedy, Via Vasese is a quiet street and it is easy to get the shuttle bus from the airport to to Termini and Hotel Europa is a short walk. The staff at Hotel Europa were friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom were nicely decorated and clean. When I asked questions (how does the safe work or is the air conditioning broken) they sent someone to sort it out immediately. We stayed bed and breakfast which is something I would recommend, plenty of fruit, cereals pastries, meats or cheeses - a real convenience to start your day sightseeing in Rome. Hotel Europa isn't The Waldorf, it doesn't pretend to be but it is a quality hotel and perfect for a short break in Rome. The Trevi Fountain was closed for refurbishment when we were there so i didn't throw my coins (and I wasn't going to throw the coins into the foot bath provided) therefore I may never return to Rome. However if I do visit Rome again I would have no hesitation in booking Hotel Europa.

"Very nice hotel near main rail station"
Was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I thought Rome would be ultra expensive but i was really happy with the value for money Hotel UNA offered. Good position right near the main railway station so you could commute anywhere very easily. Restaurant was good but bar snacks not so much.
