Huge room with high ceilings and French doors. Balconies, even in the bathroom, looking out at the Tuileries and Musee d'Orsay. The beds were firm with comforters and lavendar-scented pillows. There were complimentary water bottles, coffee, tea and chocolates each day delivered by very friendly staff.

L'Empire Paris Hotel greatly contributed to making my first trip to Paris wonderful! The room my friends and I stayed in together (5 of us) was just right - including one king bed in the main area & two full pull-out couches in a separate area & the availability to slide over a room separator if we wanted. Each sleeping area had its own flat screen TV. The bathroom was large, with both a bathtub/shower & stand up shower that were separate, a double sink, and a towel warmer. Breakfast was included in the package we purchased, which was great for eating easily before we set out to see the sights. The staff was very accommodating at all times. The location worked very well, with the Lourve and Sein River very close, and the Museum D'Orsay, Notre Dame & the Isle of St. Louis all within a 30 minute walk from the hotel. There are cafés and shopping right in the neighborhood. We arranged shuttles to and from the Charles DeGaulle Airport through the hotel, and they gladly held our bags for us for the few hours between when we checked out on the last day and when our shuttle arrived. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We recently stayed at The Westin for 12 days. The hotel is beautiful and located within walking distance from all the must-sees. In fact, we could see quite a few from our large window. Close to the Metro, so all of Paris is accessible.

The staff, especially Helene, were great to deal with. They helped us maneuver around the city with ease. The location allowed us to walk to the Louvre and D'Orsay museums rather easily. Only down side is there is not much drawer space for clothing. Very clean. Not too many amenities. Right for the price.

We had a great time, staff was helpful, quick and responsive. The staff spoke English very well, and were very accommodating to some surly guests! We were impressed by their patience and smiles. Very pleasant accomodations, breakfast was a very good attempt at American cuisine, which was good news for us, since we are used to more than croissants and coffee to start our day :) Prices weren't any more expensive than rest of Paris. We loved it there, and will return as soon as we can. WiFi worked good, rooms a little small, but only by American standards really - bit of shuffling our things around and we had room to move a bit. Great location to Louvre and Notre Dame, walking distance to both was within 20 minutes...good side of town for sure! The staff made our week even better, helpful with directions and tips to prevent pickpockets from stealing when out in metro and site-seeing. Wonderful time, thank you Hotel Ducs de Bourgogne for your excellent service and staff! You made it feel like our home away from home!

This hotel has a fabulous location, literally across the street from the Louvre. There are lots of restaurants close by with easy access to the Metro. The staff was very helpful with information and requests. Our television didn't work, but we were compensated with complimentary breakfasts two mornings. That worked just fine for us.Our room was also surprisingly quiet, considering that we were in the middle of a bustling capital city. Our only minor complaint was that, although air-conditioned, the room was not cool enough for us. In all other ways, the room was totally satisfactory. We would definitely stay here again when in Paris.
