The hotel was in a good location. Our junior suite was spacious however the electric lighting was extremely poor. The tv for such a large room was too small.
The faucet installation in both the living area bar and bathroom were poorly placed. Frequently there was flooding onto the counter in the bathroom.
We had breakfast at the hotel the first morning and never returned. Choices were too limited and several listed items were not available. Although our Expedia confirmation indicated we had the European Plan ( which we assumed meant Continental breakfast ) we were advised that in Mexico it apparently means NO breakfast is included in the room rate! Another reason not to eat in the hotel!

My wife and I stayed there for 4 incredible nights.
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The service is the best I've had in my life.
The food at the hotel is very very good.
The facilities are nice, the pool area is beautiful and the rooms are big and pretty comfortable.

The treasures of San Miguel Allende are often hidden from street view. Antigua Capilla is a short walk off a major street and a true epiphany: beautifully designed and decorated; staffed by the friendliest owners, Antoinietta and Francisco; quiet; modern; comfortable; serving a generous breakfast; phone access to the States; and a rooftop view that will beckon you to sunsets you will long remember. Six stars.
