We had a wonderful experience here. Sara was very friendly, always available when needed and so very, very gracious. The place was beautiful and immaculate. The area is quiet and peaceful. It was great having a parking lot to park our car in. A few items would have been helpful to have in the kitchen area. We cooked several meals in. It would have been nice to have a few basic spices and condiments (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar) and a few dish towels but this was only a minor thing. If we return to the area in the future, we will definitely stay there again.

We had a marvelous stay at Hotel Rotelle in August 2007. The hotel is small and intimate while the rooms are large and comfortable. Each room has an entrance from the outside and a sitting room as well as bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast offered an assortment of sweet cakes, rolls, yogurt, sliced meat and cheese as well as cappucino. Dinner in the hotel was very good and offered local specialities. Staff was happy to make suggestions for other restaurants in the area and made reservations for us as well. The pool was very inviting to our teenagers and a great place to sip coffee after dinner. We'll be back.

If you're looking for a great "base camp" for touring the hill towns of southern Tuscany and Umbria, then this hotel is worth checking. Though the location is in an extremely quiet area, the hotel exceeded our expectations in most regards and represents a wonderful, restful oasis during busy days of sightseeing. This was a great find and value for the price.

It was a nice experience, I arrived late at night and received a cordial welcome from the owner of the hotel, and he offered me fresh juices from their free-coffee buffet, which is available 24h. Pleasant relaxing atmosphere.

Pienza is the charming little town that captures that old world feel. On the perimeter are the beautiful Tuscany views that take your breath away. Pienza is in close proximity to many other towns and also many more amazing views. I really hope to return someday.
The hotel is in a perfect location, rooms are large and really nice, the bathroom is really high end and very nice. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Our favorite was Manuel the bartender and server for breakfast. The breakfast was over the top incredible with many choices.
We will definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again in the future.
