"Amazing sea view property"
We booked a standard room on Expedia and were pleasantly surprised that the front desk gave us a spectacular junior suite with French doors and 2 balconies looking out onto the Bay of Naples. The next morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the expansive terrace overlooking the sea. One of the most amazing hotel experiences ever ...

"Amazing views in a fantastic location"
Even though it is a couple of months since we stayed at Imperial Hotel Tramontano we felt it was important to leave a review. The hotel is in a great location close to the heart of town, yet it is secluded enough to be a relaxing and secluded space. The hotel itself is spacious and our room had incredible views of the gulf of Napoli, allowing us to see glorious sunsets every night. The room and communal areas were immaculately clean and well appointed. The hotel has beautiful gardens and a lovely pool in a real sun trap. In addition there is an elevator inside the hotel that takes you through the cliffs to the sea level, so it is easily to access the sun bathing pontoons and the harbour. The staff were helpful, friendly, kind, and very approachable. We thought they were brilliant. Breakfast had a wide range of things to eat including healthy choices. The bar had a great range of drinks served in unusual glassware.

"Lovely clean hotel, very close to the town centre"
Excellent hotel, very friendly, helpful staff, clean pool, great location for town centre and station yet quiet. Would definitely recommend, and I'm not very easily pleased!

"Very nice hotel."
We found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. on one occasion I also notice that they had to deal with some very rude guests, which they handled to in a very polite and professional manner. The rooms are modern and very clean. Breakfast more than adequate.

"Perfect hotel in a beautiful setting."
We stayed at Minervetta this June with our 2 children (11 and 14). The rooms were very clean, well equipped and had beautiful views. La Minervetta is a gem. My only regret is that the beach in Sorrento is not that great. However, getting to nice beaches from Sorrento is easy and the staff at La Minervetta will assist you with your daily excursions to old ruins, beaches or restaurants. This is a great hotel.

"The BEST friendliest hotel ever!"
The hotel is a short journey out of Sorrento but a regular shuttle bus is available. We were attending a wedding that did not fall in time with the shuttle times, the hotel were more than happy to make an extra trip to ensure that we got there on time. The rooms were a good size but we didn't have a front view of the sea, there were no other available rooms however on our last night (when one was available) they upgraded us & provided a bottle of fizz as an extra treat. We loved our experience of this hotel - warm, friendly and accommodating - not the flashiest of hotels but the service more than makes up for that.

"Central with great views"
Quiet, but central, with a roof terrace and small pool, another lounge and a shady terrace. We had planned to do a lot of sight-seeing, but succumbed on two days to the the attractions of the roof terrace with its drinks and light menu, and great views. The rooms are well decorated with wonderful Murano glass chandeliers, are kept very clean. There are two great restaurants within 25 metres of the door!

"Best views, food, service I've seen"
While my preference would be they have a softer bed and better pillows, the beauty and views from this cliff side paradise are beyond compare. We upgraded to the ocean view which I'm assuming gave us both free breakfast and dinners but maybe it's always included? The dinners were absolutely stellar with impeccable service, live music, taste, and better presentations than I've ever seen. I've traveled to at least 17 countries and this hotel is my favorite.

"A beautiful location"
We enjoyed a perfect six nights in Sorrento at the Minerva. Our initial concerns at the edge of town location were allayed when we found the 5 minute walk was up a gently sloping road and did not involve any steps. Everything we required was happily provided by hotel staff, the restaurant meals were top class, the staff were professional and extremely courteous. Our room was beautifully furnished and decorated and was also much larger than we imagined possible. The room cost we also thought was extremely good value.

"Stunning views"
We chose this hotel based on other reviews and I'm so glad that we did. The hotel is set up on the mountain overlooking Sorrento and you could never get tired of the view no matter what time of day it is. The shuttle bus service to and from town is good but unsure as to why there is no returning bus to the hotel at 10.30pm. You either need to rush dinner to catch the 9.30 or hang around until the 11.30 (or spend €30 on a taxi). The staff at the hotel were beyond brilliant. From the moment we checked in and met Gennaro at the front desk we were in love. He explained very thoroughly everything we would need to know about our stay at the hotel as well as things we could do out and about and the best way to do them. The only gripe we have really is that we booked a couple of excursions through the hotel using their recommended company and they both got cancelled. First one was cancelled due to the weather and one hadn't sold enough tickets. Not the hotels fault but slightly annoying. The drinks in the bar were expensive and if you charge everything to your room it is very easy to overspend but we could not fault them for quality of service. We we're greeted every day with a smile and they knew our room number after the first couple of hours and remembered it for the whole trip. Small details like that get noticed. We even met the owner who paid for our evening meal one night as a treat for our honeymoon.
