We wanted a quiet weekend away, where we could take our dog for lovely walks, and we found it!
We were blessed with good weather, and visited Newquay, Aberaeron and Cardigan, all within 20 miles. Seeing the dolphins and seals around Newquay made it even more memorable. There are plenty of good places to eat in the area.

What a fantastic apartment.
We normally stay in the Village Hotel nearby, but they were all booked up. We stumbled upon the apartment by accident and I'm glad we found this.
As regular visitors to the area, we will look to book this apartment again. It's good value for money when you have older children, who want a room for themselves and not share hotel room.
The owners are a pleasure to deal with, and organised a lovely bunch of flowers for my wife, got the weekend off to a great start.

whichever way you look at it e.g. warm welcome, clean comfortable rooms, good food etc. one can only rate it as 110% and is a credit to the efforts of Liz and Rob. I would have no hesitation at all to recommend it to anyone and in fact would go as far as encourage people to experience it for themselves, they couldn't possibly be disappointed.

We stayed for 2 nights with 2 rooms to provide for us and our 18yr old daughter. The hotel is in a quiet location and even with multiple guests we got a good night's sleep. The food was plentiful and promptly served, the staff were all engaging and friendly making us feel as if we were locals.

We booked a last minuite 3 night stay at Ardwyn House as Llanwrst Wells is idealy placed between Brecon Beacons, the Cambrian mountains and the coast(although the coast was a bit of a drive it was well worth it).On arrival we were offered refreshments which we enjoyed very much and then Roger our host gave us a brief but informative resume of the local places of interest. The town is well supplied with good hostelries for excellent food and locally brewed beer and is within a couple of minuites stroll of Ardwyn House. The breakfast menu is great and the full cooked is very satisfying.A very pleasant time was spent here and we will certainly return here possibly for the Alternative Games featuring the famous bog snorkelling event.Roger and Katie with their young family run one of the best hotels we have stayed in,nothing is too much trouble for them and they are very friendly people.
