"Lovely hotel"
Hotel approx 15 mins walk from rail station but not easy to find until you get your bearings, so worth paying the 10 euros for taxi. 10 mins from Balerini piazza where there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. Metro system does not cover all of city centre area so be prepared for some walking. City centre open top bus tour good value at approx 21 euro. Be ready to be pestered with street traders selling Roses and 'selfie rods', but no worse than other major cities. Quiet a bit of renovation going on to popular attractions such as Trevi fountain and Spanish steps so be prepared for some unspectacular photos there. However overall a lovely City to visit with good sights, food and wine ( beer expensive) , so would highly recommend a visit to City and hotel L+C.

"Excellent place to stay in Rome"
The hotel is in a perfect location on a pretty street right near Berberini metro. This is a geat part of the city to stay. There are good restaurants, shops, and a bank within a block and there are great restaurants within walking distance. It is an easy walk to many sights or a quick metro ride if you don't feel like walking. The room was large and very comfortable. Having a full breakfast included was convenient, especially given their generous serving window of three hours. The room also had blackout shutters so you can have a nice view during the day and make the room quiet and dark at night so you can sleep peacefully. The staff was very helpful with directions, reservations, etc. I would highly recommend it.

Pocket Guide: Rome Via Veneto 4 stars Hotels

Made famous by 'La Dolce Vita' film in 1960, the Via Veneto is going through a glamorous renaissance. Bars, restaurants, chic hotels and boutiques all vie for attention in the street which coined the expression 'paparazzo' – the surname of the photojournalist in the film. Nearby, the Spanish Steps are the place for lovers' trysts, shopping, and honing the Italian art of 'dolce far niente' – idling and people-watching.
