We had an excellent 2 night stay at Das Stue. The hotel is well situated, pretty central and close enough to walk to the major attractions. It is of a very high quality and beautifully finished. The staff are friendly and attentive but not overly so; they get the balance right.

We were bought this hotel stay as a birthday present for my husband.
An excellent choice of hotel as it has all the features needed for a leisure break and also for business users. The two do not always sit comfortably together but on this occasion they did. From the moment we arrived, where we were told at reception that our room was ready for us, to leaving 3 days later the staff, food and housekeeping gave us no problems whatsoever.
As the trip had been arranged as a birthday treat there was a delicious birthday cake in the room when we came back on the first afternoon.
The standard rooms are spacious and well presented with superior quality beds and bedding. The pillows are so soft you just sink into them. Not always to everyones' taste, but we found them very comfortable. Bathroom facilities were excellent with a good selection of toiletries. The only problem that we found in our room was that the television could not be easily viewed from the bed, but this was just a minor thing.
There is free Wi-Fi available but we did not make use of this.
We can only comment on the breakfast selection as far as food is concerned as we did not eat in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast, however, was excellent. There is a vast selection of food to suit all tastes and nationalities. Plenty of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, cooked meats and cheese, a counter where you can order freshly fried, scrambled and poached eggs or omelettes.
All in all we were more than happy.
