The Binjiang district of Hangzhou was primarily an agricultural area, but is now an up-and-coming tech community zone. Visitors can take peaceful walks along the banks of the Qian Tang River or visit temples and pagodas to experience a unique fusion of ancient history and modern traditions. Tourists can also pick up handmade silks at markets which line the streets of this uniquely Chinese city.
