Comfy room and fab bed. Good choice of tv if needed. Hot choc lovely. Pool a bit small and cold and loungers made for short people. Spa v expensive. Go to the thermal baths for a massage at 17 euro. The Christmas tree on the stairs was stunning . Manager gave me a comp bottle of champagne and a choccy cake as it was my birthday. Excellent touch. Thank you very much!

I have stayed at two boscolo hotels now and each time they have been stunning! This boscolo unfortunately didn't have tea making facilities in the room which was the only slight thing that I was shocked by, even with breakfast I still like to have a cup of tea as soon as I get up although I ordered room service it's not the same! Hotel bar and restaurant was stunning and staff were really friendly would definitely recommend it x

We loved the hotel and the location is fantastic. It's situated near one of the best views overlooking Budapest. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are grand and well decorated. Our experience was a pleasant one and we will be back!

Spent 3 nights celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in one of the deluxe rooms. The view, overlooking the square, defined romantic, a veritable fairy tale of lights in the evening. The effect carried into the room with a ceiling suspended linen canopy over the bed, and mood lighting surrounding the bed in a red glow. A bit goofy ,but we loved it. You can even order one of 3 scents for the room. The room itself was palatial, larger than many of the new condos currently for sale in Toronto, 45 sq m, which my rusty math says, may be just under 500 sq ft.
Hotel is nicely situated at one extreme end of the tourist shopping area, walking distance to the christmas market and ferris wheel, making it convenient but still quiet.
Staff was excellent, helping with taxis, printing boarding passes, etc. all reception staff we encountered spoke english well.
We did not make use of the hotel's spa or restaurants. Room service looked to offer the usual north american style fare, although breakfast looked limited to continental. Many reasonably priced, top rated hungarian restaurants, including the Hungarikum Bisztro, are nearby

"Very good hotel at the centre of the Castle area"
Stayed for three nights. The hotel is next to St. Matyas Church and overlooks Fishermans Bastion. Facilities are very good. Staff very helpful. Only problem we had was a very noisey airconditioning fan which woke us up at night. When we complained at 2.00am a maintenace man was sent immediately and as it could not be solved we were transfered quickly to another room. Can't fault the Hotel's response!
This was the only reason to not give the hotel all 5 ratings.
