Excellent all around! Location was fantastic (and right on top of the subway station) and the room was great too. The VIP combo deal with the flight ticket was also unbeatable. Very highly recommended!!!
And the icing on the cake is that Morton's steakhouse is also in the hotel! However Morton's is not part of the hotel operation so the VIP discount on food does not apply to Morton's.

The concierge services here are second to none. One particular staff member went way above and beyond to assist me. The English level of the staff is good - communication is easy. The rooms are very comfortable and food is satisfying. I plan on staying here every time I visit Beijing.

Nothing negative about the hotel. Overall good and positive experience for its facilities and staff. Great ambience. My 5 nights stay had been peaceful and rejuvenating. Good sound proofing from the outside. Regretted that I'm out of the hotel very early and back late. So had not much opportunity to enjoy its food establishment. Perhaps for my future trip, will try to.
Wang Fu Jing shopping district is just around the corner. Forbidden city is just a short 15mins walk. A great warm up walk to start the day. Other areas accessible by the subway or easily available taxi. There's a bus stop just right outside that goes to Beijing Zoo. Recommended for the adventurous type who wana go local mode of transport.
