Measuring 45 by 25 kilometres, the prevalent image of Ibiza is perpetual partying. This is only true of San Antonio, Playa dÂ’en Bossa and Ibiza Town by night. By day, the latter, with its hippy-chic shops and narrow whitewashed streets, is a highlight for all visitors. Much of Ibiza is undeveloped with beautiful sandy beaches and coves, and typical Balearic villages. The island of Formentera, 45 minutes south, is a popular excursion.
