Stayed at this hotel for just one night in London after finishing business elsewhere in the UK. Found just by an internet search. I chose primarily for its location near the palace and Harrods shopping district, but the place itself was a pleasant surprise. Hotel is located on a nice quiet street of row houses in London just south of Hyde Park. It felt like an upscale small inn, nicely decorated and comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and personable. There is no restaurant but they have very nice room service that makes excellent food served either in the room or library off the lobby. If you need lots of extras like a gym or pool or hotel bar/restaurants, this is probably not for you, but if you want a simple elegant and personable experience, this place is spot on.

We arrived to London for a short visit. We were lucky to find a room for 3 nights at the Arch. Check in took few minutes. We were given a room at the ground floor which seemed to be for limited mobility. The room was wide and so was the bathroom which had many safety bars. We just had some trouble with a plugged sink. The bed was quite uncomfortable bec of the soft uneven mattress. The decor seemed rather striking with many colours especially the wallpaper behind the bed. Iron and board were provided upon request but removed after few hrs when we were out! This was very strange bec every room should have them and if requested they are usually kept for the length of stay. Also a couple of electric bulbs needed to be changed. I think housekeeping should pay more attention to every detail before letting a new guest in. Anyway, I loved everything about the hotel especially the location and the friendly staff. I just hope they overcome these minor defects to reach perfection. I'll be back.

We stayed 7 nights in December 2014, including the week before Christmas. Great location - less than five minutes from Holborn tube station.
Spotlessly and relentlessly clean. Our room was scrubbed and placed back in order every time we left it. In 7 days we only returned to find housekeeping in the room one time, but the room was always cleaned and straightened.
Quiet: We were 15 paces from the elevator (I counted) and I never heard anyone in the hallway and never heard the elevator. Never heard another television. The housekeeping staff were silent.
Best TV system I've ever seen in a hotel.
Perfect service from the staff: At reception we were treated like returning friends, despite that this was our first visit. We were given advice on which elevator to use, which wireless access system to use, and which breakfast room experience we should have. I only found the front door un-manned by a doorman once, and that was while he was helping another guest out of a taxi 20 meters away. I had to print some tickets - the concierge desk made that process take less than two minutes, and when they saw what the tickets were for, gave us excellent advice on lunch spots near the attraction. Smiles all around. Candles lit in each elevator lobby. In 30+ years of international travel I have never seen this standard of service exceeded.
Dining and Drinks: two breakfast rooms are available, with differing experiences. Both were good. Bar is excellent, and busy at night.

There are very few times where you can say you've received more than your monies worth......well this is one of those places. Excellent location and you would never know it was off of a main street. Staff excelled in personal service.....they are excellent. Rooms were comfortable, bathrooms are nice and did I mention the service was excellent.

I would highly recommend this hotel and would book it again, if and when we return to London. The street is quiet, but still near plenty of shopping and restaurants. The staff is amazingly helpful with directions, advice and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast is wonderful and the cocktail service at night with the fabulous Tony is even better.

A great hotel. Fairly recently refurbished to a high standard. Staff are unassuming and always keen and pleased to help and assist. Situated close enough to attractions, restaurants and good communications links so that walking is an option.
The bars have a great choice of cocktails and a relaxed, easy atmosphere; the staff being very knowledgable and helpful in assisting decision making.
