Loved our room in this unique but pleasant hotel. Our specific room was quite large, the bathroom was so spectacular. We stayed only for one night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint would be the breakfast, there were only 2 waiters for the entire breakfast area. It was very difficult to get the correct order in and for our food and drink to arrive. Actually, I personally didn't like that the pool was not private, there was a whole party surrounding the pool, how awkward? It's not a quiet place to enjoy a nice swim. But other than that, it was a lovely hotel. I would definitely recommend.

Very nice and had the service and amenities you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Rate through expedia was cheaper than most adjacent 5 star hotels and surpassed them in confort and elegance. Service is top notch from their staff all around. Room was updated with the classic british feel and separate newly upgraded bath was wonderful. Breakfast was included in the expedia rate and was more than you could possibly eat. Paper was at the door early morning as well. Had a dinner in their Chinese restaurant and it didn't disappoint either. Hotel was walking distance to most everything. I will definately be back to stay again.

The best hotel in London without a doubt - friendly, courteouse, helpful and attentive staff throughout - if anyone needs a lesson in what customer service really means just get them to visit this hotel. Perfect location for visiting london with most theatres within easy walking distance. A little pricey perhaps but well worth the extra for a good nights sleep and a relaxing stay in central London.

We arrived to London for a short visit. We were lucky to find a room for 3 nights at the Arch. Check in took few minutes. We were given a room at the ground floor which seemed to be for limited mobility. The room was wide and so was the bathroom which had many safety bars. We just had some trouble with a plugged sink. The bed was quite uncomfortable bec of the soft uneven mattress. The decor seemed rather striking with many colours especially the wallpaper behind the bed. Iron and board were provided upon request but removed after few hrs when we were out! This was very strange bec every room should have them and if requested they are usually kept for the length of stay. Also a couple of electric bulbs needed to be changed. I think housekeeping should pay more attention to every detail before letting a new guest in. Anyway, I loved everything about the hotel especially the location and the friendly staff. I just hope they overcome these minor defects to reach perfection. I'll be back.

As you turn through the entrance gates from Holburn Road you get your first glimpse of the hotel's facade before you are in the courtyard of a small oasis in the middle of bustling London. A chipper young chap dressed in New England/Ralph Lauren attire greets you warmly and shows you to the reception desk where the staff are dressed more formally but are no less friendly. Your reservation is dealt with efficiently and you are directed to your room with its fresh decor. The bed is especially comfortable.
Breakfast in the Holburn Grill the following morning is complimentary thanks to Expedia Elite. It is reminiscent of a Boston diner and the food is a perfect start to the day. Unlike many top class hotels the breakfast is busy with hotel guests and locals, a testament to the quality.
The hotel bar, Scarfe's, was similar. Not the usual tumbleweed hotel bar but a buzzing night spot full of locals with a live Jazz band each evening of our stay.
When our stay was over we stood in the courtyard and asked for a taxi to the train station but on overhearing our request the hotel driver told us to hop in to the hotel's Jag and he drove us to the station.
The hotel sent us a customer satisfaction survey after our stay asking us, amongst other things, to recommend a member of staff. They were all excellent we told them.
Faultless? Try it and see for yourself.
