Stayed at the Mark based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. Less than a block from the park. Staff were very helpful in every regard. The service is outstanding as is the comfort of the rooms. We had only one borderline experience with slow service in the restaurant for breakfast. We will be coming back to New York on a regular basis and plan to make the Mark our New York hotel!

Booked The Towers at New York Palace for silver anniversary - what can I say. We booked a king size suite which was fab. Entrance area, living area, bedroom, dressing room and bathroom. Fantastic views and fabulous location. Room very comfortable with little extras - ipod docking station, Molton Brown toiletries,The Hotel is within easy walking distance to most tourist attractions. Didn't eat in the hotel, however lots of places close by for breakfast and dinner

Lovely hotel, good position near the major landmarks, on the corner of Central Park but away from the more frantic pace and noise of downtown. The staff were excellent and the bed, possibly the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The stay was a great pleasure.

New York landmark, Beautiful place to stay if you want to explore the park and museums.
The building was immaculate, the staff could not have been any better. Incredible.
We got a great rate through Expedia on a package otherwise would not have likely stayed
at this hotel.
Very old school NY, lots of very well to do, very well dressed individuals in the hotel.
If you stay here bring lots of money and some of your better attire.
The cheapest thing on the room service menu was a $ 19.00 child's grilled cheese.
I cannot say enough about the great service, friendly and professional staff. From the front desk to the maids
this place is the best run hotels we have ever had the privilege of staying at anywhere.
