The whole visit was a great success, the weather was great, the people were friendly, the theater was marvelous; and it all started with Nicola, the young woman who checked us in at the Mark. Nicola overheard my wife mention that she was hungry, and did´t like the idea of having to go out. She made several calls, and invited us to go into the wonderful restaurant of the hotel. Got us a table, and the experience was great. We undoubtedly would recommend staying at the Mark, and praise the food and service at its restaurant, they both rate a couple of stars. Nicola rates at least three.

Booked The Towers at New York Palace for silver anniversary - what can I say. We booked a king size suite which was fab. Entrance area, living area, bedroom, dressing room and bathroom. Fantastic views and fabulous location. Room very comfortable with little extras - ipod docking station, Molton Brown toiletries,The Hotel is within easy walking distance to most tourist attractions. Didn't eat in the hotel, however lots of places close by for breakfast and dinner

By far, the best hotel experience I've had in NYC. Having been to NYC for pleasure and business many times, I thoroughly enjoyed staying in Tribeca. Slower pace, tons to do within walking distance. New 9/11 memorial is an absolute must; worth every bit of the $24 admission. Tip: Give yourself at least 2-3 hours to take in the entire museum plus fountain area. It's done so tastefully and thoroughly, you don't want to rush through it. Make sure to walk the path that runs along the Hudson...beautiful with lots of excellent photo opportunities. Great food choices nearby (Shake Shack is an absolute must, no matter how high-end your food tastes are). Skip El Vez...decent service, but food wasn't that great. The nearby BBQ place was alright, but is not the same thing as BBQ from the south. Many other restaurant choices nearby though which was so convenient and tasty. Concierge service at Conrad was fantastic; the fellows were super helpful and friendly. Hotel room was very clean and really nice; loved the shower (multiple jets and huge)! City Hall and Chambers street subway stations were within a 10 minute walk. I will try and stay at this hotel every time I go up there from now on...really an excellent value for the money.

The Trump was everything I had hoped for and did not believe could be possible. The hotel itself is a class act with the staff first rate. I was blown away by the little extras - electric curtains and blinds, a bed side control that switches everything off or on - including opening and shutting curtains. The bathroom amenities were first rate and the size of the whole room plus the HUGE bathroom with two basin setup for two people was fantastic. I can highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a 5+ star hotel that is in a street with lots of fabulous restaurants and top grade shops and art galleries.
