Amazing experience from the first minute you get picked up from the airport to when you leave. Everyone was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. You're greeted by the manager and the whole staff. The great hall is tastefully decorated and has a view of the river bank. At anytime of the day you'll see animals visiting the area feeding on the vegetation.
The food is excellent, fresh and delicious. The morning and afternoon safari drives were exciting and fun. Morning drives are capped off by coffee, tea and treats. Afternoon drives are rewarded by drinks and snacks at sunset. We saw lots of animals and the ranger and tracker guides were very informative on animal habits and survival tactics. The whole time we felt very pampered. Each day was so unique and wonderful that we were sorry to leave Narina, Tinga.
Definitely would recommend this place to our friends and family as well as visiting again.

We stayed at the Imbali Lodge in Kruger National Park for three nights. It was truly the experience of a lifetime. The accommodations were luxurious and private. The two daily game drives were thrilling; the ranger Mr. Twice was experienced, knowledgeable and had an uncanny ability to spot the various animals that live free in the park. He was very understanding and helped us to spot the big 5 with close-ups videos of lions and the leopard.. The service was terrific and the food was good. If you are going to Kruger this is the place you should go for your safari.

Lion Sands was beyond our expectations in everyway. We planned this trip as a once in a lifetime experience and within a day were thinking - we have to come back here. The staff was amazing in every way and made the entire stay much more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and bedding and bathroom were great. The food was delicious and the evening meals varied in location with entertainment provided some nights. The safari guides and trackers were beyond belief in their knowledge of the animals, birds, plants, etc. with the opportunity to explore with your guides 6 to 8 hours a day. We are telling everyone what an amazing place this was and recommending it to all.

I had a very enjoyable experience at Jock. The rooms are a bit 'rustic' but very comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. While the property is fenced, the view of the riverbed is great and I was occasionally able to see animals from my room. The guides were fantastic--I was there only two days and saw the Big 5. The food was exceptional (and plentiful!).

"Disappointing visit to hotel with good reputation!"
Poor value indeed. Management very disinterested. Did not try to engage with us at all, so we did not even know what was available except golf and game drive.
Played golf on Legend, charged full fees despite just being cored. Golf Pro did not even speak with us despite very few people around. Getting information out of game driver was like pulling teeth (did see lions, giraffe and elephants though).
And don't get us started on the food. We were driven to 3 different locations and it ranged from dreadful to OK. When asked by waiters how things are, it is always easier to say good when it is the opposite. It is not their fault.
No bar or coffee shop or gym......staff did not know how to fill mini bar. Golf club out of stock of wine, food listed on menu, even ball markers.
