A beautiful hotel, full of character and perfectly located. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is superb and the bar provides a space for a quiet drink.
It is an older hotel, so some of the rooms can be a little small in comparison with more modern hotels. They are, nevertheless, very charming.
A truly enjoyable experience.

Our room was very nice. The hotel staff was great and the location for eating was great. There was a little distance walk to all of the main attractions but in Paris, so what! What a beautiful city to take a walk!

I go to Paris every year. I've tried many hotels/neighborhoods across the $$ spectrum, from the Plaza Athenee & Ritz on down. I think this is a gem with a blue chip location, and excellent service. The staff was exceptional: helpful, friendly, warm, etc. The only complaint is that our non-smoking room was invaded by the heavy smoking in adjacent rooms. The guests on our floor not only seemed to spend the entire day in their room…but spent the entire day smoking. Often, they would prop open their doors…so the smoke filled the halls, and consequently, our room. The hotel insisted that their was nothing they could do about it.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights. We arrived too early and we arrived with friends who had booked another room. Ours was ready early (by about noon) and theirs a couple of hours later. We were allowed in our room without any extra fees, and their luggage was put in our room without any fuss. The hotel is perfectly situated, the room size adequate, the cleanliness of the hotel and the efficiency of the staff was as good as any of the best hotels in the world and I have stayed at some of them. Besides that, the staff was gracious and pleasant at all times. If I have a complaint, it's that you don't get extras without cost, some of them hidden (like replacement of water which was originally supplied free) and that the dining costs are somewhat high. But these things are minor and one shouldn't be put off by them...just be forewarned. Oh yes, it was nice walking out of the door or the Maurice or the Ritz and being near the center of the real Paris shopping area, the gardens, the Louvre, etc. but it's worth the cab and there is no hotel in Paris that is near all the places you want to see.

I love the Hotel Napoleon. I discovered by accident, when hunting for a room for a weekend of opera performances. It is classy, ideally located, off the beaten path and has wonderful service. The entire operation is a class act. If I can manage it, I will always stay at the Hotel Napoleon, when I am visiting Paris.

The hotel was located walking distance from everything we wanted to see and had a very pleasant staff...we were even given glasses while we enjoyed a bottle of our own wine in the lobby. The room was immaculate with high thread count sheets and plenty of soft pillows. My only criticism would be a slight perfum smell dispersed through out the hotel that, at times, was a little strong.
