"Boscolo exedra - perfect central location!"
Excellent but when it rained, water was dripping onto the floors in the corridor! Great location Staff could be a bit more friendly though.

"Beautiful hotel, Fantastic staff. Wonderful place."
We have just come back from a 4 day, 3 night trip from Rome. The hotel was simply beautiful. The staff were very attentive and caring with attention to detail. We had no complaints and would very much recommend The Grand Melia to anybody looking to stay in Rome. It's also in a very good location and walking distance from every main attraction in Rome.

"ROME OCTOBER 2014"
Lovely Hotel, though it would have been perfect nearer the centre of the city and down a hill rather than up. No kettles in rooms, and drinks ridiculously expensive in hotel (mini bar and room service) - but plenty of places in the city so it wasn't a problem. Wi-fi required daily sign on to keep it free. TV no good as no watchable english channels. Breakfast very good, didn't eat in the hotel in the evenings though, as the prices were out of the world (even though the setting fantastic).

"Perfect location for a stylish city break."
A beautiful hotel with friendly staff who make you feel very welcome. Spacious comfortable rooms, we changed rooms to a quieter area in the hotel (3rd floor) after the first night which was disturbed by the emptying of bins and the loading of beer barrels in the early hours below our first floor window. Both rooms were nicely decorated and clean. I would be happy to recommend the hotel and location to anybody!

"Lovely Hotel close to the Central Rome"
This is a great hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff were nothing but friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor and overlooked the Via Vettorio Veneto. The room was spacious and light. It had everything we needed as well as a double soundproof internal door to really block out any internal hotel noise. The Hotel is just up from the Barberini Metro Station and under a 10 minute walk to the Spanish Steps.

"Great hotel"
From the impressive lobby, right to the moment entering the room for the first time everything was a wow moment, the room exceeded expectations and started the trip well seeing my girlfriend so happy with the room, then when we realised we had the balcony room too that was a proper added bonus! while the room wasn't ready (as we were slightly early) we went to the roof top to have a meal which was amazing too (the only disappointment was the restaurant on roof was closed on the sunday evening) The staff more than accommodating. A real experience from start to finish thats the proper way to see rome too!

"Impressive Hotel in Centre of Rome"
Edwardian Hotel in amazing condition, it was even better than the photographs. The staff were not especially friendly, the same staff seemed to be on duty most of the time. The gentleman in charge at breakfast was the most pleasant and very efficient, breakfast was more than ample in a beautiful Edwardian dining room. Lovely white bed linen and towels. I would recommend going up to the roof terrace for a cocktail, expensive but lovely view of the Basilica opposite and the Spanish steps. We had a room facing the main street and the was live music on the pavement outside every evening which we enjoyed. We took the tour bus of the City, but catch the first one to ensure a seat upstairs. The city taxi's to and from the airport have a set charge which is displayed on the door & very reasonable. There were plenty of Taxi's from outside the Hotel, make sure to only use the one's with a badge on the door & a meter.
