"Staff Excellent"
Close to the Vatican. Staff couldn't do enough for you, and were on hand with items that we had forgot to pack. The only small criticism is that the breakfast staff were not attentive enough and you would have to get up and ask for things. The hotel was clean and welcoming. I would definitely visit again.

"Would go again!!! Lovely hotel"
Was a lovely hotel, within easy walking distance of shops and the Metro. In a lovely high end part of Rome, with other hotels and plenty of restaurants close by. The staff are lovely and very accommodating. Piano playing the the bar/lounge/restaurant area, perfect for a place to relax after a long day of walking and signt seeing in Rome. Facilities are good, but the pool is very small, 3 strokes and i am across. I would go back again and would recommend it to friends/family.

"Great hotel within walking distance of everything"
My partner and I had a lovely stay at the Lord Byron Hotel and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for centrally located accommodation but in a quiet, relaxed area. We could walk to almost everything we wanted to see and do in Rome, and were amazed at how quiet the area was. It located right next to a park where you can also find a lovely Zoo, though it's far enough away that we weren't even aware of the Zoo until we literally walked past it. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was a pleasant experience. Both my partner and I look quite young, however the staff never once patronised or treated us in anything less than a courteous, helpful manor.

"Rome if you want to"
Great hotel in great location. Close enough to everything you need to do in Rome. Right by Termini train station so access from plane to train to hotel is ideal(not Ryanair airfield) Unexpectedly modern feeling hotel inside a lovely traditional looking posh hotel. Being so close to Termini station is great but be advised that certain areas close to the station are a little run down. Rome has a reputation for pickpockets and even the locals will warn you when leaving bags on seats etc. but don't let this put you off. Be sensible when out and about and you won't have any issues. Staff at the hotel were very good and we really enjoyed the stay, make sure you check out the spa for a chillax as it's lovely.

"Beautiful Hotel next to the busy shopping area"
It was an excellent choice, clean, close to the shopping area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I feel that the cost/room for a frequent traveller is a bit high but it was worth every dollar paid.

"Fantastico!"
From the minute we walked in...we were awed by the beautiful, classic facilities...our first impressions were quite good, and they only got better as our stay went on. The front desk person: Elena, was so kind, and went out of her way to make us feel very special and welcome. When we got to our room, we were greatly impressed with both the size, and the comfort of our accomadations. Beware: the bed is so comfortable that you may never wish to leave it! We also appreciated the little touches of turn-down service with complimentary Italian bottled waters left at both bedside stands for us to enjoy. We liked looking at the little shops, many enjoyed listening to the live piano music while we sipped a cocktail and enjoyed snacks at the bar. We loved the breakfast, and liked that we could have several Cappucinnos, as well as so many fresh juices, fruits, meats, cheeses, yogurts...so many delicious choices to start the day! We also liked the complimentary Internet, and the complimentary van that the hotel provided us...which ran long hours up until 9PM to take you back to the hotel...it was great to save our dollars for shopping instead! Overall an AWESOME experience...definitely 5stars, with highest recommendations!

"Their Website Doesn't Lie!"
I always get disappointed by the website pictures versus the hotel--but in this case, the pictures don't do it justice. Some other reviewer said that, but it wasn't till I got there that I verified that it is indeed a very beautiful place. We stayed there for 10 days, 2 adults, 1 child. There is quite a variation in the rooms, but all of them are clean. We upgraded from our Expedia price about half way through to a higher up, nicer room. Really, the cheaper price was just a little plainer--just as clean. The concierge's were very hit or miss on their information--my only real complaint. There are other nice hotels right next to it, so we walked over to the other hotels and talked to *their* concierges. They were very kind to our daughter, and very nice when I wasn't feeling well. The breakfast was good but the same every day... Same buffet for 10 days is tedious. The staff was very professional and took care of every thing we wanted. Room Service was *really* good food for dinner, though it is next door to the hard rock cafe (which, if you have kids, insures you can get some mac and cheese or a hamburger). Will stay there again on future trips.
