"Excellent hotel, great service."
I had spend some time online trying to find a good boutique hotel in Venice, this was not the cheapest option, but the service was on a par with any 5 star hotel I have stayed in, with the concierge being superb. The food was excellent, the room small, but comfortable with good room service and free wifi. The hotel design would not be to everyone's taste, but myself and my wife enjoyed the interesting art and the quirkiness!

"Centre of everything"
From our arrival until our departure, we had a fantastic stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and were very welcoming. The rooms were beautiful and clean as you would expect of a hotel of this standard. And entering the breakfast dining room really was a treat. We made our breakfast last just that little bit longer, just to enjoy the decor. We only had breakfast but everything was delicious and fresh. A typical hotel you would expect of this historic city. Sightseeing was a breeze due to the hotels location, which was less than a hundred meters from St Marks Square. I certainly would recommend this hotel to any one visiting Venice

Pocket Guide: Venice San Marco 5 stars Hotels

San Marco (St Mark’s) is quintessential visitors’ Venice. The Piazza San Marco, famous for its pigeons, campanile, basilica, Palazzo Ducale (Doge’s Palace) and expensive cafes, is unmissable. The waterfront views are legendary and more gondolas depart from here than anywhere else in the city. In season the Piazza teems with day trippers though just a block or two away streets are quiet and offer more museums and palaces to explore.
