"Great location, excellent breakfast buffet"
Staff gave suggestions concerning places of interest They reserved train to Florence We were given an upgrade--pleasant surprise Took my grandson, who had never been out of the country, and he was impressed with room, view from balcony, friendly staff, and food. Complimentary water every day I was here about ten years ago, and because of the service, I wanted to have the same wonderful experience again, as well as share it with my grandson Saw Lucia, whom we saw about ten years ago, while at breakfast. She was as friendly as I remembered. I would definitely return, as well as highly recommend.Every

"Awesome hotel and location,"
Arrived on the last leg of a cruise and spent an extra day in Venice. Took a boat to San Marcors where we walked for only a couple minutes to the hotel. Perfect location. Took a gondola ride from a station right outside the hotel. The hotel is modern and the rooms very clean with a classic taste. The staff were awesome and the complimentary breakfast delicious. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

"Great location & great facilities"
Perfect location to get everywhere, great hotel. Staff are hot and miss, some are very friendly & some are quite pompous & unhelpful. Breakfast is incredibly overpriced but the bar is very relaxing.

Pocket Guide: Venice San Marco 5 stars Hotels

San Marco (St Mark’s) is quintessential visitors’ Venice. The Piazza San Marco, famous for its pigeons, campanile, basilica, Palazzo Ducale (Doge’s Palace) and expensive cafes, is unmissable. The waterfront views are legendary and more gondolas depart from here than anywhere else in the city. In season the Piazza teems with day trippers though just a block or two away streets are quiet and offer more museums and palaces to explore.
