A1 experience from check in to check out. Great location close to 'must see' sites, museums and panoramas of the magnificent old imperial capital of Russia. The building is a well preserved and meticulously restored 18th century palace. It's worthwhile to spend several hours exploring and admiring the interiors. The hotel's atmosphere calls for 'slowing down', look around and enjoy staying in cozy luxury.

We stayed here in October 2014; the rooms are very reasonable, offset by expensive food/drink ($9.00 beer!). However we feel this is by far the best option in St. Petersburg. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Hermitage. The hotel has a swanky feel; the concierge is awesome (in fact, we were spoiled by this--not an easy find in other hotels at this price range!). The rooms are clean, spacious, and have heated bathroom floors (absolutely luxurious!). Best of all, the spa area is out-of-this-world (it was included in our room package)--it's like the World's Fair of spas--so many to choose from. We spent several evenings just indulging in them. There are also exercise classes (yoga, etc.). We booked our entire stay effortlessly online, and then returned after a week of travels and decided we couldn't beat this hotel so ended up staying here again. Highly recommended.

"Artem was awesome! Nothing was too much trouble."
We arrived around 6pm and the room was not ready. Artem sent us to the restaurant where he comp'd our entire meal (which was DELISH). Our suite was huge with 1.5 bathrooms and a whirlpool tub. The bed was comfortable and the AC was cold! Very convenient location. Great restaurants within walking distance. Very, very pleased!!!!

The hotel is definitely 4 star. However, the hotel is not near anything, which we thought was a plus. It also means that you have to arrange for transportation to visit every place in St. Petersburg, unless you can figure out how to use their bus/rail system.

Hotel is new built and staff is very helpful.
I left my eye glasses in my room and concierge was very co-operative to get it shipped to me using my courier service. Concierge was also helpful to give hints about site-seeing and booking Ballet tickets. With their help, I managed to visit both Catherine Palace and Pavlosk Palace on my own. (which was a great experience)
Room was very clean. The location is a bit off the main street of the St Petersburg but it was just a 15 min walk to reach the mean street.. Metro station is just 5 minutes away. There are a couple of convenient stores near the hotel. There's also a fruit & veg market near the hotel.
