The hotel is so conveniently located above the Taipei City Hall MRT station and a bus interchange. There is direct access to the Hankyu department store through the hotel lobby, and straight into the MRT station by taking the escalators down 2 levels. The hotel is within walking distance to the Taipei 101 building, and we were fortunate to have a clear view of the skyscraper from our room. Furthermore, there's a fantastic bakery called Semeur just next to the bus interchange that fills the whole first floor with the aroma of freshly baked garlic bread! The garlic bread is uniquely shaped as bricks, so remember to get one for NT$30 when you are there!
