"Yes, It's as good as you hope it might be ...."
Absolutely sensational experience from check-in to departure. Family of four including 13 and 8 year old children. Pristine room. Special room preparation on arrival. Kids allowed to enjoy the pool ---- unlike most other hotels on our Japanese vacation. Nearby park was hosting an outdoor adventure festival while at the hotel. New York bar ... Staff VERY attentive and accommodating. It's all in the details.

"Spectacular Accomodations in Chiyoda"
My wife and I just returned from our honeymoon. I booked a night at the Palace Hotel Tokyo as the final evening of our journey and could hardly have asked for a better stay. Our room was lovely, with a spectacular view of the Imperial Palace East Garden and the service was top-notch. Palace grounds are a two minute walk away, and the location is otherwise excellent--underground direct access to Otemachi Station (a great hub for Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway lines) and a 10 minute walk or train ride from Toyko Station. While we did not make use of the restaurant, bar, or spa, the facilities all came across as first-rate. My only complaint is that the bed was a bit too firm for my taste, but this is a minor quibble and the linens, pillows, etc were otherwise impeccable. Great luxury alternative to the Mandarin or Saint Regis for half the price. Highly recommended!

"Elegant retreat from the city"
the Capitol is one of my favorite hotels bar none. The room itself is gorgeous and very thoughtfully designed for maximum comfort. The glass enclosed shower is one of my favorite aspects with its drenching rain head. Looking out through the glass towards incredible views of Tokyo (if you leave your shades open) is an incredible experience. Staff are always kind and eager to accommodate. bed/ pillows are wonderfully comfortable. nearby restaurants are unmatched and easy to get to.

"Everyone should experience this hotel at least 1x"
I cannot speak highly enough about this hotel. It is by far the finest hotel experience I've ever had (and I've stayed in other luxury hotels elsewhere in the world). My praise extends to the room, which is packed with amenities both big and small that make you feel like a king/queen. As an example, the curtains that go up/down at a touch of a button (located at your bedside) that open onto your stunning view of Tokyo (awesome day and especially night). My praise also extends to the staff who are so attentive and friendly. Regardless of their designated title, they helped respond to my requests quickly and eagerly. They welcomed me when I came back to the hotel and wished me a good day as I departed. The staff truly cared about me and what I wanted. The Cantonese restaurant had tasty food (even the tea menu was amazing), and the staff were just as attentive and caring. This was truly an amazing experience. That's why I titled the review as everyone should experience this hotel at least once. Chances are, though, that you'll want to experience it many times after that.

"great location next to Tokyo central station"
Warm, welcoming staff. Lovely spacious room. Relaxing spa. The restaurant is under refurbishment but the hotel have done everything possible to make the temporary restaurant a great experience and offered free wine during our meal. The reception staff were superb and booked our limousine bus to Narita and escorted us to the bus stop with our luggage on a trolley. Would definitely book again. Thank you.
