"Fabulous hotel, great location, great staff"
This was for our wedding anniversary. We got upgraded to a junior suite on arrival & were treated exceptionally throughout our stay. It's very close to the Spanish Steps in a lovely part of the city. The only tiny downside is that hotelrefreshments had to be from the very expensive Mirabelle restaurant. Highly recommended though

"Their Website Doesn't Lie!"
I always get disappointed by the website pictures versus the hotel--but in this case, the pictures don't do it justice. Some other reviewer said that, but it wasn't till I got there that I verified that it is indeed a very beautiful place. We stayed there for 10 days, 2 adults, 1 child. There is quite a variation in the rooms, but all of them are clean. We upgraded from our Expedia price about half way through to a higher up, nicer room. Really, the cheaper price was just a little plainer--just as clean. The concierge's were very hit or miss on their information--my only real complaint. There are other nice hotels right next to it, so we walked over to the other hotels and talked to *their* concierges. They were very kind to our daughter, and very nice when I wasn't feeling well. The breakfast was good but the same every day... Same buffet for 10 days is tedious. The staff was very professional and took care of every thing we wanted. Room Service was *really* good food for dinner, though it is next door to the hard rock cafe (which, if you have kids, insures you can get some mac and cheese or a hamburger). Will stay there again on future trips.

Pocket Guide: Rome 5 stars Via Veneto Independent Business Hotels

Made famous by 'La Dolce Vita' film in 1960, the Via Veneto is going through a glamorous renaissance. Bars, restaurants, chic hotels and boutiques all vie for attention in the street which coined the expression 'paparazzo' – the surname of the photojournalist in the film. Nearby, the Spanish Steps are the place for lovers' trysts, shopping, and honing the Italian art of 'dolce far niente' – idling and people-watching.
