"Via Veneto 5*"
I would have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel Majestic. The breakfast was very good and food in the restaurant delicious. Single rooms are small but well equipped.

"Great stay and fantastic staff"
We checked in around 10:00 pm. The hotel was quiet but the woman at the front desk was lively and extremely helpful. We got to the room and found the bed was not what we asked for and the TV didn't work. On our way back out we let her know and also asked for dinner recommendations. Dinner was great and when we got back she had a new room ready to go and it was perfect! The next morning we asked for advice on a couple places to go and means to get there and everything was spot on. Great staff here - truly.

"NICE HOTEL IN GREAT LOCATION TO WALK EVERYWHERE"
The hotel is in a great location. The staff are very helpful especially one of the concierge who helped book our train tickets for our onward journey to Florence. I cannot remember his name (I think Umberto) to give credit where it is due, but he went the extra mile to help us. Thank you. All of the major historical sites are within 15 minutes easy walking distance. There is a pharmacy opposite the square if you require it. We enjoyed our stay. We did not eat at the hotel so I cannot comment on the dining. There are many excellent restaurants within a short walking distance. The hotel was a bit overpriced in my opinion, but I would stay here again due to location.

"Elegant, sophisticated and friendly"
It was a special trip for us and the hotel was perfect. We enjoyed the fact that we were close to all the sites but not in the center of it! The walk to and from the Spanish steps and area everyday definitely helped walk off the pasta and manage the vino. I also managed to go for a couple of runs in the Villa Bourghese which was beautiful and so close. Loved it all.

Where to stay in Via Veneto

Pocket Guide: Rome Via Veneto 5 stars Romantic Hotels

Made famous by 'La Dolce Vita' film in 1960, the Via Veneto is going through a glamorous renaissance. Bars, restaurants, chic hotels and boutiques all vie for attention in the street which coined the expression 'paparazzo' – the surname of the photojournalist in the film. Nearby, the Spanish Steps are the place for lovers' trysts, shopping, and honing the Italian art of 'dolce far niente' – idling and people-watching.
