“Modern and clean”

Great hotel, with free parking. Location is excellent with easy access either to the downtown area, or motorway. Staff were very courteous and were very helpful. English was no problem. I highly recommend it!

“Great choice”

Our group ranged in age from 19-86 y/o. The hotel worked well for all of us. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The 19 y/o was able to jog. This was our first day in Europe and we were pleased to have a nice hotel for our jet lag recovery.

“Touristic belly button”

The hotel is easily situated between motorways and the city heart. It offers a luxurious but affordable stay to lovers of all kind of activities. The breakfast is not cheap but complete, it's fruit is fresh-fresh.

“Functional but far from historical sites”

When I booked the Holiday Inn Aachen I was under the impression that it was really close to the Aachen Dom, which I took to mean within walking distance. However it was definitely an 8 or 9 euro taxi ride to the Elisenbrunnen and the Dom. So long as you factor in this expense, it is a pleasant hotel, with all functioning amenities. I had the tastiest scrambled eggs EVER for breakfast, but the catering lady did not understand 'toast'. I found it disconcerting to only have 1 English channel on the TV (free), which was CNN.

“Cold Room”

The Hotel is OK on all aspects with nice helpful staff but the room was a bit cold and the heat was stuck at 21 degrees (May be a lower value in reality).
