“Nice place to stay”

My husband and I recently stayed here for two nights. The location was convenient for walking to restaurants and the cathedral. The breakfast buffet was good, but a bit pricey.

Clean, friendly, modern, well located for shopping or playing tourist and reasonable parking nearby. Overall a very affordable and comfortable hotel.

“Excellent in all respects - and so quiet!”

We stayed in Aachen for two nights and the Novotel proved to be an excellent choice. Its quite close to the city centre (old city, cathedral etc) so was a very good location. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. I was particularly impressed with how quiet it was, despite being in a room at the front overlooking the main road. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent with long service hours as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Aachen.

“Get instructions in advance on how to get into parking garage”

The hotel is a short walk to the city centre. The room was clean and well-designed and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast. I would have liked instructions in advance on how to get into the parking garage because it is not at all obvious.

“Wonderful Christmas Markets Break Location”

We arrived at the hotel at 2am with two young children. Parking was closed so we drive to the main reception and the young man could not have been more helpful. We unloaded the car and the children and everything was ready in minutes so we all got to sleep quickly - because they had also made up the sofa bed so we didn't have to. Breakfast was fantastic. A really great selection of hot and cold items. Wonderful range of juices and efficient service. The children eat free and this makes it very good value. My girls eat a lot! The room was large enough for a family and there were the right amount of towels so we didn't have to ask for extra. There was a separate shower so no annoying shower curtains to content with. We paid to park each day and were given a pass to come in and out as we chose to. The staff were all very very friendly. It's a 10 minute walk to the main town square and shopping and very easy to find off the main motorways. I will stay here again next year when we visit Aachen Xmas markets.

Hotel is a five minute walk from the city center and major tourist interests. The English-speaking staff was very helpful. The bar and restaurant are modern and inviting. The kitchen must have been having a bad night, however, as we had to wait an extremely long time for our delicious meal. We will definitely stay there again.

“Nice hotel and cool”

The rooms are big and have air conditioners (rear thing in Aachen). The hotel parking is 4 levels (extremely clean and roomy). Close to all things in downtown.
