We stayed in this Hotel for three nights, check in is from 14:00 hours and not as stated on printout at 6am!We were told this rather abruptly,as we arrived at 11:45 and our room wasn't available. At the correct time we were given the keys to our apartment:) and the check in was quickly forgotten and forgiven. The room was very spacious, separate living room and kitchenette made the room seem very airy x the added bonus was a very large balcony,I sat outside and listened to the birds waking up x the showeroom was also very large and clean, the shower definitely had the power to wake you up x We can highly recommend the food ,we had breakfast every morning, everything was fresh and tasty x we only dined in the hotel once, but this we regret as this was also very much to our liking x the swimming pool, sauna and quiet room I loved, but sadly couldn't use on our last day as a family decided to use it as a playground for their children, so when we do come and stay again, as we shall, it will not be during half term

We visit Aachen several times a year and have passed this hotel many times. We knew the location was excellent and it always looked nice from the outside so when we decided to book a last minute weekend away and saw a great price on Expedia it didn't take much persuading.
Check-in was friendly, quick and efficient. The room was very clean and nicely furnished. Beds were comfortable, plenty of storage space and a room safe. The bathroom was clean and looked new, with a powerful shower. All areas of the hotel were clean and nicely decorated. We didn't use the bar downstairs but seemed nice. Buffet breakfast in the morning was very nice with a good choice of hot and cold food. Served until 11 on a Sunday which is ideal when you're taking it easy..
Our window looked out over the street and it was a Saturday night so it was a bit noisy at times. We would want to be away from the street next time but it wasn't as bad as other places we've stayed.
We've lived in Germany and speak German so weren't really bothered by the choice on TV choice but other travellers may find the channels a bit limited, with only CNN in English and all others German.
They have underground parking which we used just 25m from the hotel entrance. We could leave the car there for a few hours after check out so were able to spend Sunday wandering around town and at the Carolus Thermen mineral baths (a must-do for Aachen!).
Would definitely stay there again.
