Aarau West Hotel and Golf course Switzerland
My stay at this hotel was pretty faultless . I enjoyed myself. There is an 18 hole golf course on site which if id had my clubs would have made it most excellent as the course looked very well maintained. The bed was uncomfortable due to memory foam hole in centre . The service was very good and also i couldnt have wished for a better breakfast each morning , that was most welcome

convenient on pass by or local duty
Close to the highway, in neighbourhood of a supermarket, connected to a golf club, this place is well located. Missing something? Just ask at the reception, they really looking forward to help you out. I have used this place before and was not disappointed at any times.

What i like about this hotel is the complementary bottle of water in the room. A small gesture but greatly appreciated. Breakfast has a great selection and decent coffee! I found the restaurant a bit over rated for my taste.

good simple hotel
Nice hotel, very good breakfast, plenty of parking spaces. A bit outside town close to the highway, but that's what I wanted when I booked it.

We arrived to find our room only had one single bed, when we'd booked a twin room. The following morning there was no electricity, so not a great experience at this hotel for us I'm afraid.

Excellent service
Excellent hotel for a business stay. The balcony is perfect for smokers like me. Very good restaurant, and very accommodating in providing dinner when I arrived back late. I was working in Lenzburg, which is a 20 minute drive away; don't know what the journey would be like from Zurich itself.

I could not get the airconditioning to work. And it is a bit noisy with the window open due to local railway. If possible, get a room on the opposite side of the railway if you plan on having the window open. With the window closed, it is very quiet. Short walk 5 minutes to the local town.

Very poor experience
I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone at all, book something else! * Extra bed was broke * Room was not cleaned and pretty dirty * No towels * Shower did not work * Bedsheets not washed, smelled of cigaret smoke * No aircondition - very hot room * Reception not staffed * Breakfast inadequate and not very delicious All in all, a very poor experience and way to expensive compared to the comfort level.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you by the broken extra bed.We basically only have double rooms, which can be booked with an extra bed upon request. Of course, it is not the norm that this extra bed is broken and the room is not prepared clean. Our reception is manned from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, but our reception is allowed to do other work which is not directly behind the front office. If we are not behind the counter, there is a sign in English and German next to the telephone on the counter, on which it is described that the Réception is currently not occupied with a phone number. On this number we are available at any time and immediately for you. Therefore, you could have come to us so that we could have solved the problem for you. We have normal 3-star hotel room rates for the Swiss hotel industry, which may vary depending on occupancy.We place great emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene in our rooms and we are sorry to hear that your room did not meet our standards. We will pass on your comments to our cleaning team to ensure that such incidents are avoided in the future.Again, we sincerely apologize to you and hope that you will give us the opportunity to improve your experience during a future stay. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly if you have any further questions or concerns.

Good value for money if compared with other options in Switzerland. Good breakfast included in the room rate. I had dinner at the restaurant and The food was good with enough options available (also for vegetarians).

Wir haben direkt daneben Golf gespielt (Interclub Meisterschaft) . Dazu war das Hotel super geeignet, vom PP des Hotels direkt zu Fuss auf den Golfplatz.

Nous y avons passé 2 nuits en juin 2019 par canicule à 36 degrés. Il y a un boîtier pour la climatisation dans la chambre mais il ne fonctionne pas !!! Après notre plainte à la réception, on nous a proposé une autre chambre, mais dans cette 2ème chambre c’est la même chose, la climatisation ne fonctionne pas non plus !!! Notre chambre donnait sur le côté route - au pied de l’hôtel il y a une route cantonale de 4 voies très fréquentées plus 2 voies de train - donc, lorsque l’on ouvre les fenêtres c’est très très bruyant. Avons finalement obtenu en désespoir de cause un ventilateur ... quand nous avons voulu le brancher à la prise, celle-ci est sortie avec les câbles électriques. Nous avons donc effectivement changé de chambre à cause de la dangerosité pour notre chien. Ce qui a représenté le déplacement de nos affaires, bagages, couche du chien , etc. Et de toutes manières, nous n'avons pas fermé l’oeil de la nuit à cause du bruit de la route. Nous étions 2 personnes, mais dans les 2 chambres, il n’y avait qu’un oreiller, un duvet et une serviette de bain pour les 2, le 2ème exemplaire était sur demande ??? Pour s’excuser ils nous ont offert 2 petites bouteilles de thé froid ;-((. Ils n’ont même pas eu la correction de ne pas nous réclamer la taxe chien pour tous ces désagréments. Et en plus le personnel de réception est arrogant. Ce hôtel est présenté comme un 3 étoiles, de qui se moque-t’on ??? Bonjour l’hospitalité !!! A notre avis hôtel à éviter.
