Pros: The hotel is conveniently placed off the autoroute at the second exit for Abbeville travelling south. The hotel also has adequate parking facilities
Cons: We thought that the hotel was well presented and that the service provided was excellent
Location: The hotel is convenient for people wishing to break their journey,if they are travelling to nearby ports for the UK or going south on holiday.
We enjoyed our stay at the Ibis Hotel. We found it very comfortable and had a pleasant dinner in the evening.

excellent hotelPosted Jan 15, 2014
Pros: see above
This IBIS hotel was probably the best we have ever stayed in. Room immaculately clean and quiet.Service excellent. The evening meal was outstanding great food well presented and very friendly service. The manager was efficient and friendly a great advertisement for what IBIS stands for.

Overnight stay on our way homePosted Sep 30, 2013
Pros: The friendly welcoming by the staff
Cons: Tea & coffee facilities in the rooms
Location: Not easy to find. Next door to a hypermarket with fuel
We had a very pleasant overnight stay at the hotel. The staff were extremely pleasant & helpful. The food in the restaurant was good & the service also first class. We would definitely stay there again. It was however a little tricky to find!

DisappointingPosted Feb 14, 2012
I appreciate it was Sunday evening but there seemed to be only two staff on duty, one of which was the chef. Evening meal was very mediocre. Soup was cold and had to be reheated and there were no eggs when we wanted to order omelette for the main meal. Breakfast was average and expensive and although Ibis is a budget hotel the quality was lacking. Definitely find somewhere else next time we travel this way.

Ibis Abbeville is expensive for what you get!Posted Jul 2, 2010
We have used this Hotel several times over the past few years as a stopover when driving to the South and South West of France. This Hotel is expensive compared to some other IBIS Hotels we stay at and the rooms are small, poor condition and not air conditioned. This can be uncomfortable on hot days. We can only assume that because it is positioned in an area convenient for travellers returning and leaving Calais and for tradesmen employed on jobs locally they can charge over the top and get away with it. The food is reasonable for a stop-over meal and the hotel takes dogs which is handy for us.

Wish we were smokers!Posted Jun 22, 2007
This hotel is well situated in very nice grounds. We were not impressed with our room as it had been used by smokers previously! I can't remember if there were an option on the booking form about smoking, I certainly wouldn't have booked a smoking room as it led to a very uncomfortable night. The breakfast was a very good continental.
