Great stayPosted Aug 17, 2014
Location: Close to shops and beach. Could walk to everything.
This is a great hotel. I'm very picky and hotels kind of gross me out. GuestHouse was VERY clean. I was very impressed. Will definitely stay there again and will recommend to friends. Also, very reasonably priced.

Nice hotel with good breakfast and attentive ownerPosted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, nice trail to the beach, good owners, duvets on the beds. Located right on the beach although a bit of a hike down a windy trail.
Cons: See comment above about chlorine
Location: There are some small fun centers with mini golf, bumper cars. Not much of a destination but a good spot between campsites on the coast.
The hotel was nice and clean. My sheet had a stain on it so I asked for a replacement and they changed it within minutes. The owner even came up to oversee it. Breakfast was great--hot eggs, sausage, waffles, cold cereal, bakery items, and yogurt. The owner and another staff member were constantly restocking. My only suggestion is to use less chlorine in the pool as it was so strong that it burned my eyes and nose just to walk into the pool area, but at least it was clean. Overall a nice place to stay and on site owners who seemed to care.

Needs updatingPosted Aug 15, 2014
Cons: Modernization and updating.
A tired hotel that needs to be updated. Room was clean, very basic, side-window view of ocean thru very dirty windows. No beach access but not allowed by state. Within walking distance of very nice restaurant so that saved the overnight stay.

Nice hotel, close to all the shops and beachPosted Aug 12, 2014
We enjoyed our stay!! Everyone was nice, the lady who checked us in was very helpful. We noticed she was also making breakfast. She's working extra hard, I think she needs to hire some help.

Location: Close to the ocean----just on the other side of the next door hotel is a road/walkable pathway to the beach.
Great experience and comfort in large rooms. Nice view of the ocean. Would definitely go back again.

Very good all around!Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Good hot breakfast. Nice, clean pool and workout area. Room was clean.
On arrival, some reason reservation from expedia had not shown up in their computer. After a short, maybe 10 minute, delay they found the reservation and bumped me up to the 2nd floor with a partial ocean view. It was the extra mile that was actually unnecessary, but appreciated. Very nice room. The breakfast was very good. You could see that the staff were working hard to keep things stocked. Nice location and easy walk to the beach. Would definetly stay here again.

Took Mother in Law and Wife to the OceanPosted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: Breakfast was excellent two waffle machines, toast, cereal, eggs, yogurt, sausage, bacon. Come early as the tables fill up fast past 8am.
Cons: My only suggestion for improvement is to have Adults Only hours for the pool after 10pm. We only got one chance to enjoy the pool before it was fille
Location: Location is right next to the road leading to the Ocean. Across the street and within walking distance from main strip malls and nearby restaurants.
The staff was excellent as we were able to add an additional day to our stay and upgrade our room upon arrival with no trouble. We loved the breakfast. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Like most Hotels in Ocean Shores they take a beating on the outside during the winter. That being said we have stayed at 5 other Hotels in Ocean Shores in the past 5 years and this was the nicest and best run. My only suggestion for improvement is to have Adults Only hours for the pool after 10pm. We only got one chance to enjoy the pool before it was filled with screaming, jumping kids.

Affordable hotel near beach access.Posted Jul 17, 2014
The hot breakfast in the mornings were great. Beds were super comfy and the hotel staff were great! The hotel could use a bit of a face lift, but overall it was a great experience. The indoor pool and hotter were very relaxing.

Good Ocean Shores ExperiencePosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Location and room type
Location: Good seafood restaurants and lots of bike/moped rental places around. Also bowling alley and mini golf within walking distance.
I took my son to Ocean Shores for a few days and was pleased with the the GuestHouse Inn. We got a 2 Queen Jr Suite and it had plenty of room. Two beds and a TV on one side and a sitting area on the far side. The location was great. It was near both the pedestrian paths to the beach and real close to the car paths to the beach. There were shops, rental shops, and restaurants within walking distance. They staff was great. The ice machine was broken but the staff were very helpful bringing ice to the room any time we requested.
