The staff was great and very accommodating to our need to leave early. If i could make 1 suggestion, install larger toilets in the room, they are soo small.

Very bright and open and clean reception and breakfast area. Could not get the internet to work to save my life and the pool was closed one of the days we were there. I specifically wanted a hotel with a pool so I selected this one but nothing to have a melt down over. The lady at the front was there my whole stay which was Tuesday night to Wednesday morning. She was working literally the whole time. She was perky and helpful the whole time and didn’t complain. She’s and the rest of the staff are what make the hotel great. I had an overall very nice stay and will for sure come back again.

This place is literally crumbling around you. The ceilings are leaking, three walls are all water stained, the pool was so murky you couldn't see your feet, the ceiling in the pool looked danerously close to collapsing, the sink in our room was clogged and the heater was broken and they put a plug in geat dish in there in place of it.

People in the breakfast area were looking for milk, for cereal. The staff had to go to the store to get some. Also they ran out of paper plates. Fruit flies were also an issue. After many visits, unfortunately this location is headed in the wrong direction. Unsolicited conversation by strangers also staying there had the same feelings and felt the need to bring it up.

We had a gew glitches in the beginning. Customer service worked with us the best they could. We did enjoy watching the King Tides in room 322, but stayed in 312. Great breakfast selection.

I go to Ocean Shores a few times a year and have stayed at many hotels on this strip. This was my first time at BayVue, and honestly I chose it because it was lower priced. I was very pleasantly surprised. The common areas are beautiful and were lovingly decorated. The staff were super friendly. Everything was clean. Everything in the room was good except that it was very cold when I arrived. I went for a long swim while the room heated up. The pool area was nice (but also pretty cold) and the water was at an ideal temperature. The only issue I had was that the Wifi didn't work. I got a good connection, but both of my devices said there was no internet available on the network. The staff tried but were unable to help with this. Fortunately I didn't need much data while I was there, so this wasn't a huge problem. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't speak to that.

They have bedbugs, we found out the hard way. The second room we moved to on a different floor had bedbug skin. We then were expected to stay up though the whole night to wash our clothes in there industrial washer machines. The machines did not work right and I woke up every hour to check if my clothes were dry. They were not. I eventually fell asleep around 6am and woke up at 8:30 and asked staff about my clothes. They then said they would take care of it. They did not. I walked into the laundry room an hour later with my clothes still wet and my bag locked in a non working washer. I then went back to the front desk to ask what was happening. The manger knew my bag was in a machine they broke and then told she will get a mechanic to work on it. She already new it was broken but did not feel the need to get it fixed when she found out. She waited until I was asking. We were stuck at this place. We could not leave without our washed clothes and bags. We were not priority, we were big and itchy. We did get a refund. Management was a joke and did not take care of us. We just needed our clothes washed due to the place having bed bugs. I missed my nephew’s birthday due to waiting for my clothes to be done. Something so simple. If our clothes were washed by staff who knew how to wash the machines it all would not have been a big deal. The staff member expected me to stay up all night to wash my clothes. I let her know they were not drying and was told “dry them again”.

Bay Vue stay
The hotel is older and there are a few cosmetic issues but the rooms are very clean and the rooms not fancy but it's nice. They have a nice breakfast and staff are very nice

We have stayed here for years because its the best hotel in ocean shores. Large free breakfast and in door hot tub and pool is also a bonues. Great staff and really clean rooms. Highly recommened it.
