1 Night Business StayPosted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: Clean, well appointed, friendly staff and good breakfast
Cons: Some form of fan or air conditioning for the warm weather. Room was uncomfortably hot.
Location: seemed to be in a quiet residential area.
Very friendly and efficient check in service even though I did not arrive until 10pm. Hotel was clean and welcoming. Nice layout that was not too crowded. Room was of a high standard, clean and bed comfortable. The shower was a little weak and the room was incredibly hot (but it was the warmest day of the year) and with no air conditioning I therefore struggled to sleep. Breakfast was good value. Large selection of hot and cold food. Hot food was hot. Restaurant staff very friendly and attentive. Would not hesitate to stay here again

Pros: good breakfast and staff very nice
Cons: quests could be reminded that bedroom doors are self closing!
Location: We visit family so this part not really applicable
Have stayed at hotel many times, but this time room was very small and soundproofing not very good

Pros: It is large and airy, and the staff were good.
Location: There was a fitness centre, but I did not have time to use it, co-op shops nearby, church but I am a secularist. Johnstone gardens is worth a visit.
I was attending a family party in an adjacent hotel, so I was not in the hotel, very much , but when I arrived early for checkin the staff expedited the availability of the room. Also my sister from usa was able to leave me a message before I had actually checked in. Otherwise it was pleasant, the staff always helpful.

Ok hotelPosted May 5, 2015
Pros: The breakfast was of a good standard and the staff were pleasant.
Cons: A separate enterance for hotel guests and wedding guests so you can aviod having to walk through wedding parties. New showers and bathroom doors.
Location: The hotel looks lovely from the outside. It is set on a large plot surrounded by trees in a west end location with a large car park.
The hotel is only ok. This is not a four star hotel at the best it is a 3 star. It has the potential to be a lovely hotel but it is very tired and in need of redecoration to bring it up to date. The shower was the worst I have ever experienced. I also got stuck in the bathroom and I was lucky that my wife was able to open the door from the other side . Single travellers don't close the door.

Cons: New carpets and redecoration to corridors and lifts
We were staying just 1 night. The room smelt strongly of discenfectant which was because someone had been sick on the carpet, obviously the cleaner had done their best to clean it. The bathroom was spotless. The view from the window left a lot to be disired looking out onto a very dirty flat roof with constant noise of a generator from early morning through to the evening. All the carpets and lifts were very shabby, maybe time for a refit!.

Central with parking but noisy and a bit shabbyPosted Apr 13, 2015
It was a bed for the night. A rather uncomfy one though. Breakfast wasn't very nice either. Not dreadful but I won't be staying there again. Walls were paper thin too.
