Disappointed

Posted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: Staff were all very friendly and polite and my elderly mother enjoyed the welcoming and relaxing lounge that we used regulary for food & refreshments.
Cons: Checking out procedures
Had a very enjoyable stay and could not faùlt the hotel until I came home and checked my bank account, only to find out the bank card I had used to book the room and also given at check in had been used to "hold" money in my account even although I had paid the full amount in cash when checking out, this money wont be clear in my account for a few days. Phoned hotel for advise and manager Michael I felt was very unhelpfull and dismissive of the issue. Feel staff should inform customers of this when paying final bill. I have never come across this issue at any other hotel, can fully understand the need to hold card details for security but have never had my money put on hold before.......what was a brilliant stay has left me very disalpointed.

Pros: Ideal if you are in Aberdeen without a car as the hotel, shopping centre, food court, bus and train stations are all under one roof.
Cons: Parking costs £15 a day as no allocated spaces for hotel.
Location: Very central. Easy walk to all places of interest or to catch a bus.
Enjoyed two night stay visiting my student daughter. Very comfortable, slept really well even being in centre of town little noise from outside or inside the hotel. Through doors of hotel you were in food court with so many excellent eating outlets.Enjoyed walk along the beach. Crathes \castle , Duthie and Johnstone parks, Botanic gardens.

Fint og rent

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Nærme alt, hyggelig personalet, god frokost, stort rom i 7 etg.
Isbite maskin i hver etg. Hyggelig betjening i hotellbaren.

Stor glipe under døren.

Central and easy to access from the train station

Posted Feb 2, 2015
Pros: The location was excellent for us during our stay. The 12 o'clock check out gives plenty time in the morning to get ready to leave.
Location: Close by to the train and bus station. Within walking distance of Union street (main street). Close to Her Majesty's Theatre and The Music hall
This hotel is central and easy to access from the train station. On arrival we were allocated a room with a double bed (when we had requested 2 single beds), however, this was sorted within 5 minutes by a very nice member of staff. The room we were then given had a double bed and a single bed, both of which were very comfortable. The room was nice, clean and bright. Outside the room there was an accessible (free) ice/water machine, which went down a treat! The only downside to the room we were in was that right outside the window appeared to be fans of some sort which made a constant noise throughout the day and night. Saying that, once we had come back from our night out, we were almost oblivious to the noise and managed to block it out! Comfortable beds helped with getting to sleep so easily! Thanks.
