Beautiful, comfortable hotelPosted Jul 23, 2015
Overall, we had a great experience at Ardoe House. Every staff member we spoke with was friendly and helpful (or at least trying to be, more later). Our room was spotless and soooo comfortable. We had a lovely view of the grounds and didn't hear a sound in the night. The only thing that was a bit annoying during our stay was breakfast. There seems to be a bit of miscommunication about the times at which it is served. At check in we were told 6:30-10:30. In the room, on one of the menus it's said that "light bites" were served in the drawing room from 7am to 6pm (or something like that), and on another print item it said 6:30am to 11am, while on the room service menu it said 6:30 am to 10am... when we went to get a "light bite" at 10:30 we were told that nothing is served between 10:30 and 11, then no one served us at 11. The next day we were waiting at the restaurant to be seated for breakfast at just before 10. After waiting ten minutes, the receptionist told us someone would be there to seat us soon. However, after waiting a few more minutes someone came to inform us breakfast ended at 10am. When a hotel is located away from the city centre there needs to be clear communication of the times for breakfast. It sounds petty... Overall we really did enjoy our stay. We were just hungry.

Great charmPosted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: Good food and great staff.
Cons: Noise from equipment on roof.
Great room and beautiful place. View from room was awful as it overlooked a flat roof and the noisy equipment on top. The staff was great. When asked for a fan, they had someone bring it to us within a few minutes.

Fabulous.......Posted May 14, 2015
Cons: The ability to book the Spa easier its very popular
Location: Paul Lawrie Golf Centre is excellent, 9 hole course and superb driving range and a lovely cafe......
This was a return visit to this Hotel as we were visiting friends in the area. The decor is stunning and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to one of the newly refurbished rooms.......very stylish and comfortable. Excellent facilities, mind you drinks in the bar and restaurant were pricey but that is the norm in this standard of hotel......couldnt book any spa treatments as they are apparently booked out at the weekends for months ahead so do bear this in mind.....food was excellent both dinner and the awesome breakfast served in delightful surroundings.....

Great place to stayPosted May 4, 2015
Went for a weekend break, had a fabulous time. Hotel was clean, tidy. Food great. Bar was a bit expensive but knew about that beforehand. Close enough to Aberdeen City Centre to be convenient but quiet country location.

Overnight stayPosted Apr 28, 2015 on Hotels
Very good stay, was upgraded to a Prestige room, which was small but well appointed with bathrobes, slippers, free soft drinks and snacks in the minibar and luxury toiletries. We attended a private function which was very good. Nice meal with efficient waiting staff and good bar staff, although the drinks were on the expensive side. Overall a great stay and would be happy to stay again.

Beautiful Hotel, Uncomfy Bed.Posted Apr 28, 2015 on Hotels
Arrived very late, the room was only for sleep. I didn't get any room service or hospitality, so I can't judge. The bed was fairly uncomfortable. Unfortunately. Cleanliness was excellent. Venue was stunning, overall.
