A Long Weekend AwayPosted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: See above.
Cons: Struggled to find the breakfast room on the first morning. No signage and although we were told it was down one floor it was actually down two.
Location: Location was great - pity about bins for shops by some of the entrance doors (not ours!!). Easy to get around - train & bus station very central.
Husband and I spent a long weekend in Aberdeen. Loved the idea of having more than just a bedroom, as can often be a pain just sitting on the bed. Suite was very nice - everything you could need. Great to have a fridge and fresh milk!! Being on the ground floor we also loved the blinds - being able to have light coming through without people being able to see in as they went past. Continental breakfast very good - could maybe include a couple of hot items (as we have experienced both here and abroad) e.g. boiled eggs, pot of porridge??

Great value for money right in AberdeenPosted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Proximity to center of Aberdeen. Amenities all included in one price
Cons: Reception was a mess as they were doing remodelling Room was actually quite warm , with no way to control but this is quite unusual in Aberdeen!!
Location: Aberdeen is quite small, so this location gave access to everything you might want to see in the middle of the city.
Last minute booking that worked out extremely well. Parking, breakfast and internet access included. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Really nice bed.

Excellent stay--spacious, well-equipped suitePosted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Spacious, great location, parking, pleasant staff
Cons: Nothing to suggest
Location: Near theatre, art gallery, shops, restaurants
We were visiting for graduation, and found the location perfect, great to have free and secure parking. Staff were very pleasant both at check in/out and at breakfast. When we passed one of the breakfast in the street later in the day, she was kind enough to ask about graduation and seemed genuinely pleased for us.

Pros: Skene House Hotel offers the kind of accomodation we were looking for, between a hotel room and a fully furnished flat.
Cons: week days rates
Location: Close to the center of Aberdeen
We were in Aberdeen to visit our son and we needed a comfortable place to be able to relax within a walking distance to the city center.
