The Globe Inn

Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: Small friendly pub hotel with live music, very central location.
Cons: Parking? Expensive to park. Breakfast arrangements.
Location: Very central Aberdeen location, close to shopping, music venues and theatre.
Pleasant overnight stay on a Friday night, so there was excellent live music on in the bar! Very good food available as well. Overall, just exactly what was needed for an enjoyable night out and a comfortable night in.

Pleasantly suprised!

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. The rooms are above the pub.
Cons: Carrying the luggage to the third level upstairs could be difficult for some people. It was not a problem for me.
Location: Have dinner and grab drink at the Globe. There are plenty of restaurants, casinos, clubs, and bars in walking distance.
I was very suprised when I arrived at the location. I guess I did not read about the details before I arrived. The bar was completely packed and very lively. I thought I must have had the wrong location because it did not seem like a hotel. I approached the bar tender and he assured me I was at the right place. He was very friendly and gave me a key to my room on the third level.

...if you want a great time and don't mind a sleep after 1 a.m this is your place! Clean spacious room. Great little fridge with continental breakfast and very nice bathroom. Weekend bands playing fantastic music and people more than friendly! No rest for the wicked ;-) . Check out is late so you still have good time from 1a.m to 10:00 to sleep and recover! Definetly do it again sometime. Thank you all staff

Cracking!

Posted Dec 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
It's a great little place, stayed there a few times now. It's bang in middle of town, just off a quiet square, it's a lively place at weekends but you hardly hear anything up in the rooms, which are all really nice. It's a continental breakfast that's already in your room, so as long as you know this you won't be disappointed. Great place.

Good for a couple of nights

Posted Dec 1, 2013
Very clean, spacious and well equipped room. Easy to access at any time. good value if you have a night out and need a central location. However the accessibility for disabled or wheelchair bound customers is limited. People with prams may also look to avoid as the stairs would not be easy to navigate. There was no lift from what I could gather but it would be worth checking out before hand if there would be an easier access room. Also there is live music at the weekend which is another great attraction as the bands are usually great, this may also be a concern as it goes on till 0100 and could cause a problem for light sleepers. And the hotel is unmanned after pub closing time till after 0700. However I will definitely stay again.
