Lovely authentic pub with a fantastic menu and friendly staff. Rooms are clean with everything you need and very comfortable bed. Felt the right at home here.

Aberdeen stayPosted Jul 27, 2014
The room was really good but in this weather (very hot) it could have done with a fan in the room

Hidden gem !Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, comfortable and spacious room.
Cons: Permit for on-street parking.
Location: Parking is an issue - be aware, the traffic wardens patrol this area regularly !
Only booked as nothing else (at reasonable price) available in central Aberdeen. Next time we're in Aberdeen we'll be looking to book here - by choice !!

Central hotel, all mod consPosted Jun 29, 2014
What a great value find. The staff were excellent and made us very welcome and we were only staying one night. Room was immaculate and had everything you could want provided. Only very slight gripe was the tiny shower. Will be back again though.

Good rooms for a pub - at a pricePosted May 22, 2014
Pros: Friendly atmosphere in the bar, good standard of rooms, for a pub.
Cons: £130 per night for a pub is pretty steep, even if it was above average.
Location: Aberdeen is generally over filled and over priced for hotel rooms.
Lively pub in a quieter area close to Union Street. Rooms are better than the average pub rooms but reflected in the price. Staff were attentive and friendly. Pub itself is well fitted & has good range of beers and ok food.

Nice InnPosted May 7, 2014
It's a nice Inn with live music. The food is very good (lunch and dinner), after that the breakfast was - for us - a little bit disappointing (as the Inn is unmanned in the morning you have the breakfast in a small frigde in the room (artificial yogurt, corn flakes, croissant and fruits) The staff is very nice. Anyway we recommend it, except the breakfast - which is not the major subject - and! be aware - you have to pay for parking on the road to the city during the week from 08:00 to 20:00 ~ GBP 3,-/max 2 hours!

central hotelPosted Apr 29, 2014
Pros: Food was good for the price although the service was a little slow.
Cons: The side stairs to the bedrooms is a bit dingy
Location: very central and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, nightclubs, theatre and music hall
Room very clean and good size complete with ironing board and iron, hairdryer and usual extras. Continental breakfast left in the fridge but we only got 1 for 2 guests although they did provide a second when we told them. Biggest problem is the parking, on street parking costs a fortune and limited to 2 hours, parking in multi storey also costs a fortune and wouldn't like to leave car there all night. There is music in the bar on a Friday and Saturday night which can be quite loud but if you want peace and quiet early then this is not the location for you.
