Great rates, EXCELLENT breakfast!Posted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: Ish takes great pride in making his hotel comfortable and personal.
Cons: Just a few touch ups to the rooms such as paint.
Location: Great location, and I was hoping to have eaten at Thai Bamboo, which is one reason I chose this hotel.
While the hotel rooms could use some updating in some areas(re touching the doors' paint and bathtub showed peeling), it is very up to date in other areas such as the tv and having free wi fi. The best part by far was the breakfast. I can tell this is Ish's(the hotel's manager) favorite time of day and he takes great pride in making fresh eggs or omelets, customizing them to each person using an Indian flare.

Pros: Pet Exercise area in back of hotel; vast choices on complimentary breakfast buffet, bed mattresses, close to colleges and shopping outlets
We really enjoyed our three day stay at this hotel! Yes, it is older & shows some wear and tear, but it was clean and neat and priced right for our needs. The rooms weren't entirely "soundproof", so we did hear hallway voices and noise, and car doors closing outside our window, but it wasn't too problematic for us. The bed mattresses are amazing! Extremely comfortable with clean, soft bedding. We appreciated that this hotel was accommodating of our black lab for a very nominal extra charge. Behind the hotel is a large empty lot that we used to exercise her, which is sometimes challenging when traveling with a pet. It was away from traffic and was great to let her run and play. The hotel is close to all amenities you could need - shopping, food, gas. A really perfect location! The complimentary breakfast was very good ~ we never left hungry! We will definitely stay here again when we visit our daughter who is attending college in Abilene.

The location was good. But the pictures that were shown on their web page must have been taken a long time ago. The room was really run down and very out dated. The only window was quite dirty. The bathroom severely needs to be updated. The free breakfast was a 2 out of 10. The bed was in poor condition, and I am very un-picky about mattresses! I did like that it had a small frig and microwave. There was a coffee maker in the bathroom, and the coffee was pretty good. I would not choose to stay there again.

DisappointedPosted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: They had a nice play area by the pool with lots of grass, a picnic table, a swingset for the kids & swings for the adults.
Cons: The beds, the carpet, the lighting, the doors, the thin walls...
Location: The location wasn't bad. It was kind of central; there were plenty of restaurants, shopping centers & the mall close by.
Booked this hotel because we needed 2 rooms and it was relatively inexpensive. Guess you get what you pay for. I read the reviews. Most said it was ok, the rooms were comfortable & clean, that the hotel just needed some updating. I think 'some updating' was an understatement. The bathroom door was old & had gouged places in it and squeaked so loud that if anyone was sleeping you had to leave it open. The beds were terrible. The carpet in the halls was past worn & the trim around the bottom of the walls was strips of carpet (different from the carpet on the floor) stapled to the walls. The staples were trying to fall out. The a/c barely blew at all, and it was on high. My daughter's bed had hair in it when she pulled the covers back. The sheets for the sofabed were wadded up inside. I wasn't sure if they were clean or not, so I got some more from the desk. And you could hear EVERYTHING! I heard people in the hall talking, people in their rooms shutting the toilet lid, shutting doors, showering, etc. Overall, it was pretty disappointing.

Decent PlacePosted Oct 12, 2013
Pros: Large room, VERY nice Sony LED TV!!
Cons: Air conditioner was extremely noisy and woke me several times. I have central air at home and am not used to lots of noise at night..
Location: Nice area adjacent to several shopping plazas and about 1/2 mile from the Abilene mall. Several decent restaurants are within walking distance.
Older hotel that looks like it's been renovated. Manager is very friendly and outgoing, as is the staff

close and convenient access to many things.Posted Sep 23, 2013
Pros: friendly people. I have never had any problems and it seems to be a safe place.
Cons: Many areas could use some deep cleaning, but overall acceptable
Location: Near one of the hospitals so stayed there for the birth of my baby granddaughter. Many restaurants and the mall close by.
I have stayed at this hotel several times. The management is friendly and helpful, but don't think you will be allowed to carry any items from the breakfast back to your room. This is fine, because they make it clear at checking all the rules. It is a pet friendly hotel, although I did not have a pet with me.

Pros: Patio with grills, pool, tv and cooling system. Breakfast buffet had good variety.
Cons: Rooms need some updating.
Location: There was shopping and a variety of restaurants.
Rooms were clean but could use updating. Fresh made omelets at breakfast were very nice, good variety on buffet. Wine and snacks provided in the evening.
