It’s an older property but clean. They did a hatchet job on wallpaper repairs. Maintenance staff lacks skill.

The sofa bed was not able to be used because the mattress was so thin, my daughter ended up sleeping on the sofa itself, which meant there were 3 of us in the king bed. Nobody had a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was disappointing compared to other Fairfield Inn properties I’ve stayed at.

Great service , clean, quiet. The only complaint/ concern was a serious problem with the elevator. It had a serious“lurch” as it reached the 4th floor. I was warned at check in- but another gentleman on the elevator with me & I agreed that we were not prepared for that serious of a jump.

The indoor pool was freezing and it may have been a bad assumption on my part, but if you're going to advertise an indoor pool, be sure it is usable. The workout facilities were extremely lacking. The treadmill was out of order and there were no free weights, but a bench. And, the mattress on the pull out bed was filthy. Breakfast was good.

Worst Hotel in Abilene Tx!!! DO NOT STAY THERE!!!!
The cleanliness of the rooms where ok, but the restroom floors are breaking apart, the beds must be old because when you would move you can hear the beds squeaking. we also got stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes and kept calling the emergency number and no one would answer the phone so I had to call 911 for the firefighters to show up and lets us out. The receptionist did not care at all that we were stuck on the elevator for that long and just kept saying that her manager was not there to do something about it, so ridiculous.

We ended up not staying at this facility due to issues with the rooms offered. This hotel is older and is in need of repairs. The first room offered had tiles on the bathroom floor that were not secured and some were cracked. The phone in the room did not work. The front desk said a lot of phones were out in the hotel. The front desk tried to make it right by giving us another room but that room had water damage and had flaking paint on the celling wit paint falling to the floor. The floors in that room were warped and there was a horrible sheet-rock patch on the bathroom wall. The main reason we chose this hotel was because of the indoor swimming pool. We had planned on getting some exercise. Unfortunately for us the pool was out of order due to a broken heater. The desk said it was out for a while. I travel a lot for business and stay at the Fairfield chain a lot. This hotel was the worst I have ever seen. While the desk attendant stated this is an older hotel and room restoration was in progress, they seemed to think this was an ok reason for the rooms to be in this kind of shape.

It looked like someone got their hair cut in the shower. Dirt, grime, and hair all in the bottom of the shower….disgusting!!! I have never seen a hotel room that nasty. Because I booked with Expedia and not directly with the hotel the manager was not willing to do anything to rectify the situation. They did apologize for the dirty room as I checked out.

Good place to stay
We had a great stay with the hotel room being very quiet for a good night's sleep. The pool water was very cool and refreshing after the summer heat. The breakfast was very good with good variety. We enjoyed the stay and we were refreshed Sunday morning for our church meetings.
