“Class Act”

Our experience was a good one. The only problem we had was that the water was shut off for a while during the time we needed it. We left the hotel and when we returned there was a bag of goodies and coupons for a free meal for our family at a nearby restaurant from the hotel. There was also a note expressing their apologies for the inconvenience. Overall, a great place to stay. The kids loved the indoor pool and it made for easy access around the city.

“Very Impressed”

We were very satisfied with our stay at this motel. The staff was great and the facility was clean. We requested and was granted a late check out. The pool was great. Too bad they were refurbishing the hot tub.

“One of Abilene's Nicest Hotels”

I like using Expedia because at check-in they have all your information ready where you just have to sign your ticket and not worry about exchanging money. Hampton Inn was a very nice hotel. We were a little concerned when we saw a group of teenagers were staying there, but there were no problems at all with noise. I think the only problem we had was the sheets kept coming off, so it just needed the deep fitted sheets. But if we do stay in Abilene again, we will definitely stay there. Also, breakfast was excellent and the people working there were very helpful.

“Mostly satisfactory”

"Your room is not ready" from desk clerk after 4 p.m. with check in advertised at 2. 10 minutes later, we received notice that is was indeed ready. Not much of a wait, although it appeared the room had been ready but the front desk had not gotten the word. The hot tub was out of order-specifically chose that hotel over another of the approximate same rate. Hot tub-high priority and would have stayed at the other if I had known the hot tub was out of order.

“Great place to stay in Abilene”

I usually stay in two star hotels, but with the Mrs. joining me on this trip, I decided a three star was in order. Compared to some of the other places I've stayed this hotel deserved 5 stars across the board, but because I don't have any 3 star hotels to compare it to, I went mostly with fours. Very clean room, free breakfast (the standard waffle machine, but the non-standard scrambled eggs and sausage was also available), right next door to the Abilene Mall, and surrounded by several good places to eat, and one exit away from a Starbucks. Will certainly stay here again!
