“Hampton Inn's are consistently good!”

The only thing that was wrong with our stay was that there was a cookie on the floor under our bed....only found this out looking for an earring. The bathroom was spotless and the air conditioner quiet. Beds comfortable! Breakfast remained open for us past the 9:00 time. After we checked out, they let us come back later to use wireless. Super friendly staff.

“One of many newer motels/hotel around Abilene”

Overall, my stay was quite fine with no hassles. This hotel is fairly new and is close to Hardin-Simmon University which is where I was during the day. Easy access to I-20 and easy access to HSU. The room was NOT a suite. It was simply a normal room with added fridge, small microwave, and tiny coffee maker. The AC worked GREAT and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast had several selections and changed a bit each day so you were not stuck with the same each time. I would add that there are a LOT of newer hotels now along I-20 to serve the universities (HSU and ACU). Expedia did not offer me all of these but you can find them off Google maps or Yahoo. I likely could have stayed at one of the other 2 newer hotels right there with this Hampton Inn and gotten a lower price. I think that even with my Expedia discounted price that the cost per night at this Hampton was a tad high at for Abilene in June with no major events going on.

“Decent Property in Good Location. Would stay again”

The hotel is located right off Interstate 20, which is extremely convenient to either downtown Abilene (10 minutes), or any place on the north side of town. Easily the nicest looking place off the Interstate. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Would stay again
