“very enjoyable stay...”

multiple family members enjoyed a long weekend at the hotel to celebrate a birthday and we all enjoyed our stay immensely....we had great service and the staff was most courteous...a yummy breakfast every day and a "so so" managers reception in the evening...great food at the hotel catered birthday dinner...would definately stay there again

“excellent choice group with children”

we had a great time. there was shuffleboard, pool and ping pong to entertain our child. happy hour was nice for evening refreshments. pool and jaccuzi were comfortable and large enough to enjoy even if others were in them with you. Breakfast was wonderful. many choices for the entire family. everyone was happy with the meal

“would stay again”

The hotel and room were both very clean. The bed was very comfortable as well. The only complaint I have is the children left unattended and running through the hotel. I would stay at this hotel again.

“Best place in Abilene to stay”

I reserved the room for my son and my self we each had our own bed and we could have our own space. The complex was not very large which made it more appealing the pool was great and the buffett was quite delicious although it would be nice if it was open later than 9 for those of us who like to sleep in while on vacation. I would definitely stay again when i'm back in abilene. The staff was quite friendly. thanks much to you all

I was suppose to have 1 King bed for my wife and myself. What I got was 3 full size beds. Very disapointing since I reserved a King.

“Surprisingly exceeded expectations”

Honestly, I booked this place last minute but wow - everyone on staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beds are very comfortable, and I had no problem with my room. The main area has a very open feel which was nice when enjoying the summer sun, but not the 100+ degrees outside. Even though I was there for business, the hotel is in walking distance of the mall!

“BUSINESS TRIP TO ABILENE”

I have stayed at the MCM Elegante in Abilene many times but this time was different! Its always been very well maintained before. BUT this time Our room ended up the facet in the bathtub leaked and dripped the whole time, which maintenance never fixed, the latch on the front door locked us out when we left for a couple of hours. The maintenance had to come and use a coat hanger to get the door opened!~ Then I wanted to watch a movie, so I ordered one, it charged me, but then I couldnt get it to work. So I tried again and again it charged me but it still wouldnt work. I called the front desk and the maintenance guy came in and said oh yea its just the tv system!! So he tried again and it charged me again!~ So I never got to watch a movie!! And now the charges are being reversed in a couple of days, so the front desk says! I think for the room rates that we pay, things should have been different! Im very disappointed in the stay this time! So make sure you get a room that doesnt have leaky faucet, tv messed up, and front door lock locks behind you so you cant get in!

“busy place”

Lots of activity-full of people everywhere-staff seemed to handle well, except that the breakfast line got long Sunday morning. A pleasant place to spend a weekend, especially for families. Would like to have seen bed linens that matched the rest of the room decor, but overall a good experience.

“Everything about this hotel was great, not super elagante, but super all the same.”

We will definetly go back. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, the hotel staff very friendly. The pool was nice, clean, warm; they even have pool monitors to see that all is as it should be. The food was excellent. Very convenient, right across the street from the mall. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel.
