“Sort of hard to find -Good value for the money - but make sure you won't need to change your plans!”

This is a great value but be careful to read cancel policies - many rates are NON REFUNDABLE - so if your not sure you will arrive, you may want to book somewhere else. The staff is friendly, good self-serve breakfast. They were repairing the roof while we were there, but had a notice at the front desk and did not start until 10 AM (reasonable). They are a pet friendly hotel also (fee required)

Area recommendations
Near the Mall - and once you find it you can get accross town very quickly taking a major crossroad (Buffalo Gap) or Sayless.

“Good fit”

Turns out this hotel was about a block from my meeting location the morning after my stay. The hotel was acceptable in cleanliness and comfort. I would stay here again.

“It's the little things that count”

Overall hotel was good, it was little things that were missing, for example no iron in room and only two pillows were provided, a couple of extra would have been great. Hotel was clean, friendly service.

“decent value”

quiet, clean room not easy to get to off highway very nice breakfast kinda strange that toilet & shower were in the bathroom but the sink was out in the room

“Will always stay there”

This hotel is easy to locate but off the main road so there isn't alot of traffic noise. It is close to shopping and eating and the rooms have always been ready and clean when you go to check in.

“Spring Break in Abileen, TX”

Location is a little difficult to find if you are arriving from the North West! But once you understand the freeway frontage road route it is no longer an issue. Review a map prior. Exit I-83/I-84 South/East on Buffalo Gap road, then go left under the freeway. Turn right on Industrial Blvd and right again on Sayles Blvd, follow to end of street. (All this is within a few blocks.) Hotel was close to tons of restaurants, the mall and all the shopping stores you could possibly need. Abileen has a great freeway system. So from this hotel everything was easy to get to. Check in and out were quick. Hotel staff were polite and helpful. Rooms were clean and quiet. All around it was a nice stay. We did not try the continental breakfast but, there was lots of seating. Pool is not heated and therefore only open during the warm months. However the YMCA is close, indoors and low cost!

Area recommendations
Abileen is not a large city. Therefore it doesn't take long to get where you are going. There is a good freeway system. We did not experience a bad or good side of town. Therefore can't recommend desired area.

Hotel Pool is not heated and therefore only open during the warm months. However the YMCA is close, indoors and low cost! Take a light jacket and possibly a coat during the Spring. The weather changes quickly!

“Perfect place for a value stay”

New motel, near airport on South East side of town. Con: No Airport Shuttle, Nothing nearby. Pro: Good hot breakfast, well stocked and attended to. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was fresh and clean. Beds were comfortable and room was quiet. Would definitely stay again. Outdoor Pool was closed but functioning. Short drive to restaurants at next exit West.

“Great Value”

I had not stayed at Super 8 before, but booked it based on the reviews I read from Expedia. I was very pleased with the location, cleanliness, and comfort of the rooms. I will stay there again.

Area recommendations
In Abilene, you either stay north at I-20 and Pine or Ambler, or you stay near the Mall. This property is near the Mall and I found it to be convenient to downtown which is where I need to be.

“Will stay agin when I am in Abilene”

The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. Check in and out was quick and smooth. Did not eat breakfast at the hotel but it looked okay.

“Pleasantly surprised”

You probably think of Super 8 as a "not so classy" place to stay, but it had everything we needed at a reasonable price-we would definitely return.
