“Could really use new maids, but the bed was sorta comfortable!”

Looked for quite some time to find a hotel close to the interstate, I had seen commercials for super 8 so thought what the heck lets give it a shot. The man at the front desk was very friendly and greeted with a smile. We got our room upon entering the room the smell was very musty and smelled of dust. The towels had stains nasty looking stains that appeared like someone had run out of toilet paper, there were boogers on the wall of the bathroom, and the tub appeared to have not been cleaned for some time. The bed was somewhat comfortable though the cleanliness of the room made it quite difficult to sleep on the bed not knowing if the sheets were really clean or not. Though he was super friendly we will NOT be staying at this location ever again!

“Super 8 Abilene”

This was just a basic motel but very clean and had a microwave and refrigerator. I would definitely recommend it for an inexpensive place to stay.

“Good Place to sleep and shower”

The hotel staff was friendly; the breakfast was good; the rooms were outdated but clean. They didn't have extras like pillows. The swimming pool was not usable. I would stay there again to shower and sleep.

“Will never stay at a super 8 again”

The room was very small and out dated. There were temporary patch jobs on numerous locations in the room. I could touch all four walls of the bathroom while standing in the middle. I expected a lot more.

“Not great...needs a LOT of work.”

Lobby smelled and they need a lot of remodeling. I won't cut corners on cost and location again!

“"Wouldn't Book Again"”

The first bad experience we (my fiance and I) had were that the sink did not work and the plumbing underneath leaked water onto your feet. - The toilet wouldn't flush. - The shower would not turn on unless the sink's key was on. - The plumbing in the whole restroom area was making loud, awful sounds. - We called the front desk in hope to get transfered to a different room but were told that the "handy man" would not return until 7:00 a.m. the next day. - We were forced to sleep and leave the hotel: unshowered, without being able to use the restroom.

“Beds "Hard-as-a-Rock"”

The beds are "hard-as-a-rock" and both my wife and I had sore shoulders the next moring from sleeping on them. Some of the tiles on the bathroom floor were loose. There was a large hole in the ceiling of the breakfast area from water damage.

“We will go back”

The room was what we expected and at a good price. We have been to several other Super 8 Motels. We especially like the ones with Tempurpedic Mattresses.

“Gross!!”

All I can say about this hotel is GROSS!! The room was filthy and the first time we used the bathroom the toilet backed up. The person who came to fix it used a plunger and then proceeded to carry the dripping plunger over the floor and carpet to leave the room. We were supposed to stay here on our way home but canceled and stayed in the Hampton Inn which was about the same price and a million times cleaner, I can't believe that this hotel hasn't been shut down by the health department.
