Room was spacey and fully accessorized, even iron & iron table! Taxi to the hotel was 55 AED plus 45 to go back to the airport [$27.2 total]. Hotel located in the center of Abu Dhabi.

“Good hotel on a tight budget, not a bad place at all”

I had to book this hotel for my friend in a rush for a night stay. The external appearance of the hotel is not all that impressive and may not make you feel to proud to state that you stayed here. However I was quite impressed with the cleanliness of the room the interiors and a decent service. Deskstaff were not all that courteous, on phone they informed that check-in could be done at 11am, but when we reached there they informed not to enter before 12noon. Not a big problem. Paid parking is available around this hotel. However if you are there on a Friday, then parking is free. Place around the hotel is very busy, if you are not fussy about walking a few tens of metres, then finding shopping or eatouts would not be a problem. You could also check out the Madinat Zayed Shopping mall just adajecent to this hotel, which also has a decent food court if your expectations are not all that high.

“Great for the money”

Among the more affordable hotels in Abu Dhabi, Al Jazeera really stands out. I lived in Abu Dhabi for three years and now am located in Dubai so on occasion stay in Abu Dhabi hotels. Many in this price range are dirty or prostitute hangouts. Al Jazeera is neither. It is in a good area - right behind the gold souq so easy walk to budget shopping, or to Elektra street and Hamdan street. The place is clean, rooms large, bathrooms huge and there are cheap eats all around it. For the price I doubt you'll do better in Abu Dhabi.

“Nice stopover hotel”

The hotel is good for a shortstay of 1 or 2 nights to discover Abu Dhabi. It is close to the city centre, shhopping malls and the bus terminal. The breakfast is well and for dinner it´s possible to visit the restaurant in the ground. The personal is not so helpful planning your stay in Abu Dhabi, but friendly and they offer me a early check inn and a free luggage store possibility because my flight was late at night. The rooms in the first floor are a little loud because of the cafeteria.

“Pleasant stay in Al Jazeera”

Good position, close to transport and shops. The hotel restaurant was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Travellers should always use metered taxis or buses.

“AL JAZIRA --- DESERT JEWEL”

The staff was very helpful, and very polite. Even the language barrier did not deter us from sharing common interests with them. The Hotel was always very clean as one would expect not only for the religious but also from the ordinary visitor aspect. Loved it and would have no second thoughts about going back.

“Everything you need except hot water!”

room was clean and had ameneties, but there was NO HOT WATER the first day! The second day there was hot water, but ran out very quickly. A shame that a hotel which had almost everything else cannot get this one basic necessity correct. Also hotel is very hard to locate, and the Indian staff are unable to give proper directions on how to reach it, so took long time to find.

Proximity to airport was most advantageous - also good for access to food outlets - Taxis a big problem - i.e. trying to get one or get them to call you one

“Not a good stay, but nice staff”

I dont recommend the hotel, if your there for a long stay. I was there 4 days, I really disliked the smell of the restroom, and the water doesnt get hot. The waste pressure in the room I was in, were terrible. At the end of my stay I saw small roaches going under the bed.. The staff was nice at the front desk, and the men who brings your luggage up to your room. I went to eat breakfast and the food, was not of good taste.
