“Glad I stayed with Al Hamra Hotel...”

I was on a budget trip to the UAE to visit friends. The Al Hamra fit into my budget and exceeded my expectations. Location was central, with two 'small' supermarkets across the road and convenience store around the corner. The staff were polite, helpful and spoke english. The basic rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean, had TV, fridge, tea and coffee, air-con, WIFI and LAN connection. The hotel has a usable gym, sauna and steam room. Complimentary bottles of water are supplied (this is important because it is recommended that you don't drink the desalinated tap water). I ate at the hotel restaurant - the food and service was reasonable. Friends staying at another more expensive hotel in the area visited my room and decided to switch hotels to the Al Hamra. This was not because it was better - it was just better value for money. Most taxi drivers know where the Al Hamra is located (taxi's are one of the best ways to get around - they are cheap and plentiful). The appearance of the hotel and the lobby seems a bit dated... but if you want somewhere comfortable, friendly, clean and tidy with all the basics you'd expect in a western hotel - the Al Hamra will suit your needs nicely.

“Very good and perfect location Al Hamra Hotel”

The hotel room was clean, with courtesy coffee and tea. Bathroom was also in a good condition and clean. The main hotel lobby is a bit small and the breakfast was reasonable. The price of the hotel was already included in what I paid by credit card. Very good deal.

“city season”

the rooms are clean and cozy, the house keeping really sucks and have to be called most of the time do not read makeup my room signs, the room service are great but lucks consistency on the same menu. the front desk are warm and friendly, the guest relation personnel (sara) is really helpful. overall good place to stay in abu dhabi
