“Will use it on my next trip”

I stayed in this hotel for less than five hours only, because I had a connecting flight to catch. However, during this short stay I did enjoy the luxury and the comfort which the hotel provided.

“Luxury for a reasonable price!!!”

I was very impressed with this hotel. The last time I was on Yas Island I stayed at the Centro, the same price but I was disappointed. I was upgraded to deluxe and I enjoyed my stay so much that I did not want to check out. The only downside was the pool, I did not expect so many children to be in it. My friends and I sat on the bar stools by the bar inside the pool and kept on getting splashed by the children. My margarita was mixed with chlorine!

“Very Comfortable Stay”

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza on Yas Island (not downtown Abu Dhabi) twice this summer (both on one night layovers) on way to and from Toronto. It is only 15 minutes from the Abu Dhabi airport (not like the half our to forty minute ride to the downtown crowne plaza) Our one night stays there were very comfortable. The staff was courteous and prompt, and the rooms were without a speck. The beds extremely rest-inducing, the pillows fluffy, the bathrooms were impeccable, with all the little touches to make you feel comfortable. There was WIFI and a very nice fruit platter to welcome us and the TV screen has your name on it as well. We ordered room service twice (dinner and breakfast) and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We have a five year old and a 1 year old, and they provided us with a play-pen which was perfect for the little one to get to sleep. Here's the catch with this hotel: it's in an area that's relatively new and has absolutely nothing around it whatsoever (except other hotels). The reason for these developments is the new nearby race track where the Abu Dhabi Gran Prix takes place every November. For the rest of the year the area is very quiet. If you want a hotel with restaurants at walking distance and places to go near by for entertainment this hotel is not for you. However, if you are on a layover and want a quiet, restful, comfortable stay that's close to the airport, this is a great choice. I would definitely go a third time.

“I will tell everyone to stay there!! I felt I should have paid more!”

I was perfect. The front desk was very helpful and the bell hops were on the ball getting all our luggage to our two rooms. It was exceptionally clean, and very comfortable with amazing views of the ocean. The breakfast was more than we thought it would be. Didn't even know it was included in our stay. Amazing. I give it two thumbs up!!! I amost forgot. They assisted in all our site seeing. They took care of EVEYTHING!

Nice Hotel staff are very polite, beds are so comfortable. I would highly recomend this hotel

“Hotel experience.”

We were only there for one night as a stopover on a long flight, but the room and staff were great. The room was quite large with plenty of space for two suitcases. However, the hairdryer in the bathroom needs to be moved - you have to bend over because the cord was too short to allow you to stand up and look in the mirror whilst drying hair. Women need to see what they are doing when drying hair.

“Excellent stay!”

The hotel is a place to stay if you are intending for short or long stay. Very Close to Abu Dhabi International airport. I have been staying in this hotel twice so far and this time I have got a taxi to the place from airport and it only cost me 20 Dirham. The quality is just top notched. The breakfast is excellent and has a wide variety for every taste. The Gym is very good and it has enough equipments to accommodate any kind of gym goers. I will be more than happy to go back again in the future.

“Solid business hotel in amazing location”

Terrific little hotel in the Yas Island hotel circle. I really liked the rooms and the service was great. A couple things though--the WiFi service was spotty at best (especially during the day) and for some reason the gym was playing Christmas songs in April. Otherwise a great stay.

“The Yas Crowne a jewel amongst others”

The YasCrowne Plaza sits in a dedicated hotel culdesac and backs onto the Yas Island Golf course and waterways. It is far enough away from the race track to miss out on car noise, which was a relief as there was a meeting the weekend we stayed! The checkin was smooth,but as a returning customer, no recognition, which happens in other quality establishments. The first room I was offered was overlooking the car drop off, again not what a returning customer wants, and also no bellboy to carry bags. When I drew this to the attention of the reception manager, I was upgraded to a nice comfortable room and all was well. Pool area is very nice, as is al fresco dining at 'Stills' the bar, but disappointing that we had no live entertainment. Also the breakfast buffet is very very expensive. Other than that, a true 4 - 4.5 star accom. Great place to stay for nearby Yas Island concerts, but watch out as rates go up on these weekends.

“Yas value”

Having stayed at 4 of the Yas Island hotels including the only 5 star one, I have to say that the value at the Crowne Hotel is very good. The room you should request however plays an important part. Get it facing over the adjoining golf course and waterways as facing the front is looking at more hotels. The balcony rooms are particulalrly nice and would be 5 star elsewhere. Food can be a bit pricey at breakfast, howver the evening fare at Stills al fresco bar and restraunt is very fiarly priced and tasty. We were surprised however that food was not available till 12 by the pool and this needs rectifying. front desk experience fast and staff very pleasant. Free Wifi very good as well. We will be returning.
