Having stayed in the Fairmont on the Palm in Dubai previously, we thought this would be the same, but it is not. The hotel was clean and staff very nice but the hotel is dated and food very repetative and limited options compare to other hotels we have stayed in. Breakfast was nice, Dinner was very limited. Overall food was hit and miss in terms of quality. Rooms were not cleaned until 4.45pm some days - ended up doing it myself. Another day we were not left any clean towels - the small things that make a big difference when you have paid to travel all that way. It wasnt terrible and we got a good price on the hotel, but I wouldnt return and based on the cost of the flights, I want something better.

Lovely hotel, private beach and pool was perfect. Staff were great. Food at the hotel was overpriced though. Need to get taxi to all tourist places. I would stay again at Fairmont.

From check in to check out we had an amazing experience. We were always treated with kindness and respect, staff always had a smile and always ready to help. We loved it so much we didn’t leave the hotel once. The room was spacious and clean. The pool and beach area were very clean also and well kept. We really hope we would have stayed more days. Will definitely come back. I do have to mention that the Steakhouse restaurant does not allow children. I called to make a reservation and was told that no children were allowed but that we could eat in our room. Lol. That wasn’t the best response but other than that everything was great.

A wonderful hotel, overlooking the mosque. Sunsets are amazing. Great restaurants, pools are very clean. Staff are very helpful will definitely be returning here next year.

This was one of the prettiest hotels we stayed at! We got checked into our room but then decided we wanted the beach view. The staff was absolutely amazing and upgraded us to a higher floor with the beach view and the mosque, at a discounted price! Rooms are amazing and very clean. Has an amazing pool and restaurants at the hotel. They have a pool for kids and adults. I highly recommend the Fairmont if you are staying in Abu Dhabi!

This is an excellent hotel at a great value the staff here try their best the property is also well-maintained. It’s an excellent place to have a wedding or dinner. The view of the Grand Mosque from the back is very nice. Also, they have rentals of jetskis and other waters sports at a reasonable price you must ask for that price. I happen to eat at the sushi restaurant. I decided to get the all you could eat sushi with the all you could drink alcohol package, considering alcohol at restaurants in the Emirates is not cheap. They had a deal of all you could drink beers, or mixed drinks or wine and you could change from one to another but I just stuck with beer. I must’ve drank about 12. The sushi was excellent perfect temperature. The rice texture was superior. The gym is also very nice. I happen to try that out as well. New modern fitness equipment, and finally brunch very high-quality ingredients and products all the with high end seafood

While we had a quick layover and weren’t able to use the great facilities like the pool due to limited hours, the room was so large, the staff so friendly and helpful. Only thing I didn’t like was that you cannot charge the restaurant costs to your room and have to always pay direct in the restaurant.

The hotel is everything you would expect from a Fairmont. It is luxurious, elegant, clean, and offers first-class service. I really enjoyed my stay here. I was fortunate enough to get a room with a view of the pool, beach, and mosque, and this was easily the best part. I would definitely stay again.

Luxurious property with nice location
The hotel itself is nice, with beautiful views of the canal and a beachfront setting. When I checked in, they upgraded me and upon going to my room, there was a strongcigarette smell (in a non-smoking room). The housekeeping tried cleaning up the room with an air freshener but the smell persisted and I wanted a change so they upgraded me again, a double upgrade!(As they had no rooms of the same category left) The double upgraded room was on a higher floor with a seperate reading room and lounge like area with televisions and a common bar for the floor! The room itself was expansive with nice flooring, floor to ceiling glass windows, hall with a tv set etc. Very well appointed. The food options were limited (for vegetarians) and the quality was average (again for vegetarians, I dined at the middle eastern/Mediterranean restaurant and the hummus, spring rolls, bread and ice creams were just average). The meat eaters seemed to be enjoying their food more, so I guess its only the veg options that were limited. Overall a good property but I didn't really have time to use the swimming pool or other amenities as I was on a short 2 day business trip.

Great for the family
Wonderful stay with the family, large room with wonderful views of the sea and Grand Mosque. Very comfortable, clean and good breakfast. Enjoyed a meal at the Italian restaurant.

We arrived early and the hotel kindly check us in four hours before check-in time room was oversized. Bathroom was amazing with tub and shower every possible amenity highly recommend this hotel.
