“An Abu Dhabi Icon with Brilliant Beach Club”

Friends thought we were nuts going to Abu Dhabi in August and during Ramadan, but I can honestly say that it was a fantastic holiday and we were extremely pleased with our choice of the Abu Dhabi Hilton. From the time we were welcomed by the door staff to the time we boarded our taxi back to the airport and said goodbye to the concierge we were treated like royalty by all of the Hilton staff. That's what made it different from any other hotel that we have stayed in, and we have stayed in many over the years. We chose the Hilton because it was one of the few that were there when we were last in Abu Dhabi in 1983 and we knew that it had a great location on the Corniche. The underpass to the beach club was new to us but made for easy, safe access to the club. Temperature controlled pools (one adult only) and plenty of shade made for a relaxed, chilled out holiday. Pool staff were extremely friendly and polite. Back to the main hotel staff. They were absolutely first class in all respects. Check-in by Maik was friendly, efficient and completely hassle free. Our room attendant, Marsel, kept it spotless and always ensured we had plenty of bottled water. Breakfast staff were also fantastic and welcoming. Chef knew my egg order after the second morning! We ate in the Terraza and Royal Orchid. Fantastic food - brilliant staff. Definately recommend the Abu Dhabi Hilton primarily because of the staff, the beach club and the food.

“Impressed”

I was anxious about this hotel before going on my trip as I had read a bad report about it however we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in an Executive room which was lovely and the staff in the Executive Lounge were excellent. For us it was definitely worth that little extra as breakfast, non alcoholic beverages throughtout the day, afternoon tea (including cakes, etc) and then evening drinks and canapes are all included. Alcoholic drinks are available from 6-11pm. All of the aforementioned are only available in the Executive Lounge which has just been newly refurbished. I would say the whole hotel has undergone a refurbishment as the decor differs from the photographs and certainly looked new. It is worth going through the underpass to the Beach Club which is landscaped beautifully with plenty of bars.

The Hilton Abu Dhabi was a nice hotel with a good beach, pool and leisure facilities. The hotel staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The room we had was clean and comfortable and a good size providing everything we needed. The executive lounge was also very useful for when I needed to catch up on some work.

Top class hotel. Could not fault the service in any way. Staff extremely friendly. Good location, Hilton beach/gym area fantastic. Spa wonderful. Restaurants in hotel are excellent and there are 7 to choose from. 5 mins from Marina Shopping Mall. 20-30 mins drive from Abu Dhabi airport.

“Excellent Hotel”

Great location for getting about in Abu Dhabi. Staff extremely attentive and friendly. Excellent choice of restaurants, leisure and spa facilities. Massage a must, also Jazz Bar...'Liquid' band are fab. Would definitely stay there again.

Definitely a great hotel. I would stay there again. Location is perfect. The view from the room was beautiful.

“Enjoyable relaxing week - great hotel staff”

Although we ended up in three rooms in a week we enjoyed staying here and the staff were excellent. Our first room was on the 1st floor and was very nice having been refurbished recently. My wife wanted a higher room for a better view and reception were happy to move us. The next room had not been refurbished and some of the furniture was a little tiered but the room was nice, comfortable and clean - the only problem was a very noisy air-con unit. Reception were very good about it and moved us again to another room at the front of the hotel. Again the was not refurbished but was very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were very good, always courteous and couldn't do enough to help, especially the concierge team. Taxi from the airport to the hotel tried to charge us more than the agreed fare. It is strange as going back to the airport in a metered taxi was much cheaper than the fixed price cabs. Lots of places to eat in the hotel and the food was good. We had breakfast included, so made the most of that. The Jazz bar had a very good band who made for a couple of entertaining evenings. There isn't masses to do in Abu Dhabi, we spent most of our time in the hotel's private beach and spa, which was nice, but then our main reason for staying was to relax after a hectic week in Tokyo. Others have complained about noise from the road but we didn't really have a problem and our room was at the front of the hotel.

“a wonderful experience with great restaurants and location”

We were unsure when we booked that this hotel would give us the service and location we had hoped. The pool area and beach were very peaceful and offered a choice of pools and especially the Vasco restaurant had food we thought fresh and well presented. The staff were helpful and organised a guided tour of the Emirates Palace and made little extras to add to our day such as guest towels organised to resemble an elephant on our desk! very inventive.

Fantastic location, Hiltonia beach club was a godsend, staff very friendly and service was excellant. Very worthwhile to upgrade to executive level a service second to none, will certainly return.
